You know, it's attitudes like this that is stopping Ron Paul (with all the ideas and issues you support) from winning. Do you know how many people I've heard speak like you? Your attitude is defeatist and you're throwing away a vote during one of the most important elections ever. Ron Paul is something America has needed for decades, possibly even centuries. The only politician out there that will stop taking us into illegal wars, meddling in other countries affairs, will use diplomacy instead of force, will end the Fed, will take criminal Wall Street bankers by the scruff of the neck and kick them square in the ass, will stop sending our hard earned tax money to foreign dictators in a pathetic attempt to justify it as "foreign aid" and will follow the constitution to a T.

Ron Paul had a chance at one point. And if it wasn't for all the media brainwashing telling us he's unelectable, he'd be the frontrunner today and he would absolutely pwn Obama in a head-to-head.

He hasn't achieved much in congress because he's completely anti-establishment. Can't you see that? He represents YOU... the average American... that's why he hasn't achieved anything in congress. No politician who is pro-peace could achieve much in congress. This is a revolution and if he had the support of the nation he'd achieve more than the previous 10 presidents combined.

The once in a lifetime opportunity to elect a completely honest President who would fix nearly all of the problems in the world at such a critical time and we blow it. What a disgrace!

You hire an employee and keep him on for 3 decades while he promises and promises much but delivers NOTHING. That is not defeatist, that is accurately assessing the man. He is all talk, nothing else. Believing him is blatantly stupid.

We are NOT talking about one term or two terms with nothing happening. We are talking about 3 decades of nothing,,,,,,EXCEPT a PORK bill for his home district. I thought he was against and above all that crap. And Paulobots detest flip-flopping like they say Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich have done. Like Paulobots never changed their minds about anything? Like it is not flip-flopping to lose the Republican Senatorial election when you're the sitting Republican House Representative, and then resigning FROM the Republican Party to JOIN the Libertarian Party to run for president. and them after getting only one half of one percent of the vote,,,,,,,,,,,,,,LEAVING the Libertarian Party to re-join the Republican Party to get his massive EGO back into Congress. WHERE IS THE HONESTY? Paul is a career lying politician like the rest of them, but he is ineffective.
The people around Galveston are dumb enough to keep sending this failure back to Congress while listening to him talk AGAINST multiple terms. But the rest of Texas was too smart to elect him a Senator and the nation has shown and is showing that the nation is too smart to elect him president. The sad thing is they were so stupid they elected obama but they're still not dumb enough to give Paul any serious consideration.

All his presidential runs, including this one, have been and ARE a joke. And that is being kind.

But can't you see that many of his policies are anti-establishment and that's why he hasn't achieved much in congress? As President he'll have far more power to get some of his revolutionary ideas set in stone, right?

Your massive rant (which I abstain from quoting in full) isn't exactly what I call "kind", but I digress...

Personally I believe the best thing Paul does and has done for America is draw attention to the addictions that are slowly destroying it. The games that mainstream politicians and "experts" play have abused the trust we put in them for years---whether it's spinning us into yet another Vietnam situation or responding to economic crisis with the same arrogant fiscal policies that gave us the Great Depression, people need to wake up and do their own research.

Getting young people interested in their own future is incredibly important, and you can call Paul a "lying, career politician" all you want, but his persistence in blasting the rhetorical myths of the mainstream inspires people to think for themselves, gets them to shut of the "news" networks start reading and learning the truth about the world from more than one (subsidized) source.

Yes, he steals leftists' clothes here and fills that vacuum. His foreign policy is as shortsighted and unprincipled as that of leftists and his economic isolationism as idiotic as their own protectionist drivel. But he gives it all the "yee ha!" factor which goes down well in America.

I think the President will (and should) be reelected. He is a good man who is guiding this nation well. He's a good President and I would like to have him serve another term.

If the Monkey King is reelected do you think he will be able to govern without bipartisan support?

Monkey King? That's a tad racist. And yes I think he will because he' been running this country well even with all the road blocks that Republicans set up.

Leftists aren't well educated or well read. That's why you don't know who the original Monkey King was. He was a creature out of the Han Chinese literary masterpiece entitled Journey To The West. He was known as Sun Wukong and had many of the same characteristics as Barack Obama.

Ideologically I lean slightly right.. but aren't I constantly hearing that "all college professors are liburls"? And if that's the case, wouldn't that mean what you just wrote be an oxymoron.

Most college professors are old Baby Boomers who haven't revised their curricula in twenty five years. They are neither well educated nor professionals.

I run with the academics at UC Santa Cruz. They are casual friends and clients.

Besides, my sons graduated from UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara within the last decade.

Good for you and them. Though I haven't had similar experiences with professors here on the east coast, and oddly enough in the south.

Due to his actions, policies, and words in the past 4 years....I am 100% certain Obama has a snow balls chance in hell of winning. That's why the GOP nomination is so vicious right now. Obama is an easy target - those who have been biding their time can see that the nominee will win the election. Face it Obama has defeated himself with his actions - everything to come is just more words, words, words - and if you count it up he didn't fulfill many 2008 campaign promises.

If you want to be lied to (again) and watch the nation fall even further...vote obama. Good luck. The rest of us are voting for real change....real change of leader anyways.

It doesn't really matter who wins if it isn't Ron Paul. The left and right candidates are all the same. More war, less civil liberties, more nanny state. Mitt Romney will not change this, Obama didn't change what Bush was doing. you have to vote for an outsider to have any real change.

Oh. I'd steer clear of calling a black man monkey king in public.

African Americans didn't have a problem with references to Chimp Bush. Why would they have a problem with references to Monkey King Obama?

I live in the Greater Bay Area. When I am in African American areas I refer to the Monkey King as "Pu Yi." The Chinese in SF grin when I say that and the African Americans have blank looks on their faces.

Edit: If I really wanted to make a racial reference to Barack Hussein Obama I would call him Hak Kwai. That's what the Chinese call him.

President Obama has already paid the remnants of ACORN almost $1,000,000 and Eric Holder has approved voter intimidation and is fighting to keep voter fraud alive. So, who knows?

I'm pretty sure that if Obama gets re-elected, he will bring fourth the apocalypse.
    (So I hope he doesn't)

I think he may make the guiness book of world records for most lies told by a president. (WOW, thats a lot of lies)

Can anyone think of anything he said he would do when he was running that he actually did when he became president?

I know they are all lieing sacks of sh*t, but this guy takes the cake.

Someone probably would have assasinated him by now, if they werent affraid of being convicted for a hate crime.

Obama will be re-elected by a wider margin than the first time around. Rick Santorum winning in Alabama and Mississippi is an affront to all people with intact frontal lobes.

No, Bottle, "we" haven't. I assume you have, though. Democrats ran a nitwit who's accomplished ran to a list of, well, zero and now he might actually have to run on his record. Since he's already paying the remnant of ACORN, and has Eric Holder guaranteeing that dead people get to vote, voters can be intimidated, and deadbeats get to vote repeatedly he might win. Who knows?
