Imagining something could happen and being 'in the know' that something will happen are vastly different things.
I think it's a little far to imagine that the military didn't comprehend what was transpiring after the first hijack given the state of threat warnings the system was experiencing in 2001 that dealt with the hijacking of airplanes. And that says nothing of the warnings that involved planes in the prior years but were still related to Osama bin Laden and his terror network. There was knowledge across the government that planes were to be used as weapons by bin Laden's network before 9/11. It is that simple. People were 'in the know'. And as I said in post #25, a 0% interception rate is "a bit much to acknowledge and accept given what top officials in the government knew pre-9/11."
Well, you are certainly welcome to your opinion. Do you extend this concern far enough to include complicity of NORAD and the Air Force?
I don't know how it is that I have never seen this before. I mean we have all heard that OBL was Muhjahdeen, and many are aware that they have a long history with the CIA, and were armed by US intelligence operations, but I had never heard of a CIA false identity.
Why did you doodle all over that document? Is it because you think it makes the document look more official?
If you have something that can "set me straight," then provide it. I have shown a willingness to believe things that are presented to me from credible sources. Obviously, I don't swallow everything down, just like everyone else. Don't just say, "Well, you are certainly welcome to your opinion."

There's some conflicting information in those links... And, based off what I've read and seen, no. I'm more in tune to the failure. It appears that the attacks were known of, thought of and War Gamed out. I don't know, failure just doesn't seem like an option after that type of effort, especially when the threat is *real*.

Most definitely. The Pentagon nowadays can't even say that they fell asleep on the zombie apocalypse. They train and hypothesize just about over everything.
Those who believe the official story of 911 are the same people who believe that: the US government is for the people by the people......
If only they could define the "something else." They can't even say anything more about the events at the Pentagon than that it didn't look right to them. Doubt that any of them would even know what it was supposed to look like. Eleven, going on twelve, years of FAIL.
