    You rang?

The weakest candidate in the presidential field IS and WILL be b.o.
He has a proven record of failure.
He has a proven record of corruption.
He has a proven record of incompetence.
He has a proven record of wasteful spending.
He has a proven record of broken promises.
He has a proven record of lies.
He has a proven record of ineffectiveness.
He has a proven record of divisiveness.

The Republican candidate could be, "a player to be named later," and still win easily.

What you say is true about Obama's record. Of the eight R candidates, I believe Romney, Gingerich, and Perry are the three that for sure can beat Obama.

The weakness is a direct reflection of the weak economy and historic decline of US Capitialism and democracy of the capitialist type .

The only way Obama can remain is the totally decayed nature of the republican and tea party candidates .

amazing to distinct political parties trying to take the same ground dosen't work like that!

None of the Republican candidates have the dubious distinction of being the worst president in the history of the USA. ONLY the incompetent, incumbent, idiot, clown fool, loser b.o. holds that extremely low "honor."

Obama is losing independents in droves,,,you do not know that? Romney has them sewed up already,,,not even close...
As far as the entire field goes, what did the Dems have in the last election??? ,,,,John Edwards?, they were so hard up for candidates they knew about his scandal and still used him as window dressing....

It only takes one,,,and Gingrich, Huntsman and Romney are a hell of a lot more impressive and experienced than Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Edwards...

    Seriously!!!

Lets be realistic here. The President is in a very weak spot. I support the guy but he is in some trouble.

But the Repub candidates are VERY weak as well and because of it Obama has a chance. Normally with 9% unemployment the incumbent wouldnt stand a chance. I think many people share my view that he is still trying to clean up the Bush economy but still the economy SHOULD have killed his chances at re-election.

Obama still may lose, but its much closer than it should be. And I dont think anyone really thinks that a guy like Perry could beat Obama. Newt probably wouldnt stand a chance, and Cain would be a long shot at best.

So really you have Romney, but the last time a flip flopper was a partys nominee they lost to George W Bush. So he isnt a shoe in by any means. Ron Paul could be dangerous if he was the nominee, but I highly doubt he will be the nominee.

This race is going to be very tight. The President is on shaky ground and his contenders are all seriously flawed.

I still say Romney is the only one that can beat Obama.

750,000 at over a $1 million each. And none since and we are still at 9% unemployment with no end in sight.

It not only failed to create the numbers they promised it was an actual drag on the recovery, the last thing we need.

And Obama's ONLY proposal is more of the same.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.gov, we now have 1,300,000 FEWER jobs than when the Stimulus was passed. so if you insist on counting 2 million jobs "created," then you must also count the 3.3 million jobs lost.
Stimulus passed in Feb. 2009 unemployment rate 8.2%
NOW unemployment rate 9.0% Even a mathematical cretin should be able to realize that we have a net FEWER jobs now. 1.3 MILLION FEWER!

And we're the reason why Europe is failing too. Right? IT'S OIL! If you want consumer confidence and increased spending to go up, bring down the price of gas. That would be the perfect stimulus for companies that can't bring up their prices due to the recession, but have to pay more due to higher shipping costs.

What I'm trying to say is that Obama can't be blamed for the economy. He was handed a pile of crap by Mr. Bush.

You claim the incompetent incumbent imbecile created 2 million jobs. When PROOF is shown that he has a net LOSS of jobs, you wander off talking about the price of oil. Milk is expensive too. So is beer. So what? And b.o. is the worst president of the country.

You made the silly assed and boring liberal "blame Bush" nonsense too. But Bush's high gas prices are not an excuse but b.o.'s high gas prices do excuse the incompetent incumbent imbecile? Loony liberal nonsense. The only thing wrong with both Bush and b.o. is that they are rank incompetents. b.o. more so than Bush, but both terrible presidents.

The Democrats were handed 52 months of full employment and three years of declining deficits, down to $161 billion. The Democrats housing scheme caused the collapse and the crap that Obama's failed policies have only made worse. And Obama was a full fledged member of the Senate and then President when that all occurred. His hands are quite dirty from all of it.

How many time do I have to tell you guys that OIL is to blame for all of our economic problems. You guys are trying to demonize the banks but you're forgetting that banks are responsible redistributing money throughout the economy. When the banks don't loan, the money just sits there. Not much good huh?

How is oil the problem? Unless not being allowed to drill or build refineries here, costing thousands of jobs is what you mean by oil being the problem.

And banks lending? Banks ARE lending. Just not lending to poor risks that have a poor credit history and no possible way to pay back a loan. The USA grew and prospered for over a century with banks conducting themsealves exactly as they are today. The few decades of banking insanity forced by the govt was an abberation to normal operations.
Back when I first went into business, there was a saying that. "The only way to get a loan from a bank was to prove to them you didn't need the money."

So if I'm running a company and my shipping costs go up, how am I supposed to make up for that? Well, one way is to lay people off. Many of these people have mortgages and no backup money. Some of these people are well-off and are simply trying to keep up with the Joneses. So they go into foreclosure. This sudden increase in foreclosures quickly brings down the value of other houses. People don't see a reason for paying for a house that's worthless so they intentionally foreclose which adds more to the problem. Investors see that people are doing this so they quit investing in mortgage-back securities. This causes banks to slow down with their lending which is detrimental to the economy since that's the PURPOSE of banks. Banks are supposed to redistribute money throughout the economy. If they don't do that at a rapid enough pace, money just sits there. This causes bad news and people start to notice the higher gas prices even more. People are driving less and spending less which keeps the economy on a standstill Now do you see the picture?
