Unfortunately for your heavily biased and entirely wrongful interpretation of standing law, Trump is not a criminal until a court declares him to be.

Calling someone a criminal in your view is NOT showing bias? Good grief that's thin!

You are totally unqualified to judge his tax returns or determine Trump's criminality if any does in legal fact exist. But your complaining that you didn't see the same lawful deductions which Trump's accounting-troops did, that's on you and not Trump.

Oh?! You're a tax attorney, or at least a tax accountant? Maybe a CPA...? AND, you've personally pored over Trump's tax returns?!

Then, based on your unique knowledge of Trump's tax situation, you postulate that Trump did NOT pay the taxes that he OWES, in strict compliance with the U. S. Tax Code...?! :omg:

Well then -- get on national television and lay out all your detailed information for us, Golem! You'll be an instant media star while doing the entire United States a valuable service! DON'T HOLD BACK! Share everything you can prove with all of us! Do it today! :applause:

Wrong! You are a criminal when you commit a crime. You are a proven criminal, when there is enough proof for any reasonable person to see. You are a convicted criminal when a court convicts you.

See how how much fun learning English is? Not to mention educational.

Yeah yeah... I know the wingnut talking point.

You can't opine about Climate Change unless you're a climatologist.

You can't opine about Trump's proven crimes unless you're a member of his jury.

You can't opine about Trump's tax records, which have been analyzed be CPAs, unless you are a CPA.

    ....

A very old and very lame strawman.

You don't have anything of substance say? ... No? That's what I thought...

No 'straw man', Golem. In YOUR post #75 in this thread you stated, "NO! What the hell gave you that idea? I expect him to pay the taxes he does owe."

So what were you saying if you weren't saying that Trump DIDN'T pay the taxes that he owed, according to the U. S. Tax Code?!

You come back accusing me of using a 'straw man' strategium, so, tell us, then, what you DID mean to say if it wasn't what you said....

Surely you weren't just 'shotgunning' a lot a baseless, unfounded crap, rooted in NOTHING! No, surely you're much too erudite, refined, educated, and ethical to do something as callow as that.... :floating:

The takeaway: the 'villain' in all this, if there is one, is the U. S. Tax Code itself! It needs to be re-written from the first word through the last word, and ALL the loopholes, tax shelters, exclusions, exemptions, deductions, and "carried interest" crap excised from it!

But the hypocrisy of the whole thing right now is that radical Democrats are howling about it because Trump -- like every other wealthy person -- probably did take full advantage of it! Why would he not? How many of any of us pays one penny more in taxes than we are forced to pay...?!

"Hypocrite -- thy name is DEMOCRAT!"

And you wrongly still claim Trump is a criminal and yet produce no proof except open bias.

Your opinion is not enough to convict. Your bias however indicts only you.

I meant what I said. Not a word more, not a word less.

However, since you ask, I do believe he has committed tax fraud. Either that or Bank fraud. Or both.... We will know for sure when his returns and his dealings with Deutsche Bank become public.

As for the rest, it's not a matter of the Tax Code. It's probably more a matter of our judicial system as a whole. It works relatively well for honest people. But allows unscrupulous people to abuse it. Trump has relied on endless litigation to profit and not pay taxes. Whether it's legal or not is not the question. Whether it's dishonest or not is. And you can be legally dishonest if you have no scruples, but putting somebody with no scruples in the White House is a very different matter.

Trump is one of the kind of people who create bureaucracy. Honest people complain when the red-tape is unmanageable. It's unfair and it's a waste of time and money for people who are honest. But it exists to stop abusers like the one you guys want in the WH

    OK, now I understand.

In your OPINION, Trump has committed tax fraud (or "bank fraud"... or both....). And, AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE we will "know for sure" about all this -- WHEN HIS DEALINGS ARE MADE PUBLIC. Fair enough....

You are entitled to your opinion, of course. But I'm have more trust and confidence in the opinions of people who wait for PROOF and EVIDENCE before they start rendering judgments!

[IMG]. "But why wait for proof or evidence...? It's so inefficient...."

Of course it's not. With a corrupt AG like Barr, not even proof is enough... Not even if Trump stood in the middle of 5th Ave and shot somebody would it be enough. This is the reason why Trump chose the most corrupt AG he could find to induct into his Mafia organization.

My confidence is on people who even LOOK at the evidence that there is. And there is enough evidence that Trump is a criminal in the Mueller Report alone to put him away today, and for the rest of his life (unless he lives to be 150). Trump supporters are instructed to not believe their own eyes and ears, so evidence is of no use to them.

You've lost mooring, sailor. That was drifty as a loose canoe. You indict without proof, you convict without jury, then declare "reasons" you utterly fail to explain.

I'm sorry, I was expecting something more solid than a forum post. That flimflam reference game died ages ago. Let's talk federal charges levied, convictions obtained, appeals granted or overturned.

Trump still stands. And the next time you say any part of me is lying, I will merely remark you tutored me well.

    :roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:

What things other than posts can you get through an internet forum? Were you expecting to open my response and have pork rinds and a beer pop out, or something?

    God you're hilarious!

.... Because I used the expression "lying eyes"????

Perhaps the most charitable thing I can say about your analytical processes at this point, Golem, is that you are well-practiced at the art of CONJECTURE... especially where your opponents are concerned.

But, if you really want everyone to start digging into the MUELLER REPORT, just wait a little longer. They had that execrable slimebag, James Comey, up before the Senate Judiciary Committee today.

Did you ever read "Crime and Punishment", by Fyodor Dostoevsky...? Remember the part where Raskolnikov 'shoots himself in the mouth', so to speak...?

Well... obviously you're not going to. Nor will any Trump loyalist. It's too "scary" for them. But I don't care if "everybody" does. I did. And so long as the prosecutor who's going to put the creep in jail does, I'm good.

You would not know how to use 71 million. Besides.....it was a gift from the Biden Obama Administration to try and bolster their failing economy.

I do not buy into the game "Golem Says". Now I'm looking forward to indictments in the Russian Probe and will keep you posted.

Me too! We have like... thirty something already indicted. But soon as Trump is out of power we'll probably be looking at, bare minimum, the Trump Family joining them. All the Trump family. Not to mention Mnuchin, Barr and the rest of their enablers.

I'm as excited as you are.
