    Meanwhile, only anybody in America would call a loss to Sweden 'shocking'. They were the best team in their group and we weren't even the best in ours.

    The writing was on the wall and I wasn't shocked at all..

    I really wish everybody would stop treating every brain fart he has as news...

    Trump and his supporters don't see it? 71% of Americans say the country is going to hell. Trump is right.

    BTW, who ran things during the last 9 surveys?

    Poll finds 71% of Americans believe country is on wrong track

    The 71% of Americans in our latest NBC News poll saying the country is headed in the wrong direction is the eighth time in the last nine NBC News surveys dating back to Oct. 2021 when the wrong track has been above 70%.


    And the one exception was in Sept. 2022, when it was 68%.

    We have never before seen this level of sustained pessimism in the 30-year-plus history of the poll.

    Remember, trumps goal is to keep out brown people. Gets white nationalists to be the strong arm of his thuggery to try to halt democratic elections.

We are very disappointed by our close lose to Sweden, but in the end, it won't be remembered nearly as long, or by as many, as your monster loss in 2020. I suppose we both forced it to overtime, but WE managed to play by the rules, as you are currently finding out. We still feel our record for the rest of 2023 and through 2024 will be much better than yours, as our SINGLE loss only lasted around 130 minutes while yours will be nearly EVERY DAY for 18 months..     What you don't seem to understand is that a TON of Democrats are saying the same thing, for completely different reasons than you are. Any country that can have a House of Representative being run by children, and a clear criminal as the front runner for that party's nomination is 100% not on the right track.

    It's sort of a stupid question when you think about it... The question should be comparative to previous times, not a simple binary option...

    I'm not surprised they lost after being demoralized by the organized hate campaign against them for something as ridiculous as not singing.

    And I am not surprised an idiot like Trump would blame Biden for it.

    US athletes hardly ever sing, which is evident to anyone who follows hockey, football, basketball, or any other sport.

    I thought the same thing. Without context, the results are meaningless.
    Did some mean that they thought the partisan politics are heading down the wrong path? Maybe some of the more outrageous legislature being passed by Republicans is the wrong path?
