I remember the timeframe The Duly Elected 45th President of The United States of America”.
I remember the opposition party was very negative towards The Duly Elected 45th President of The United States of America.
That happened before anything negative or beneficial happened in The Office of The President.
The investigations began very early in The Presidency and multiplied through out The Presidency.
The investigations have continued throughout The Biden/Harris Administration.
Multiple investigations continued throughout the timeframe prior to the 2024 Presidential Election.
    Multiple investigations are continuing currently.

When Trump announced his 2024 run had any of those investigations been proven in A Court of Law >was he convicted, sentenced and is he currently sitting behind bars and wearing an orange suit? No he is not. Therefore, he can run for The Office of The President.

So, currently The American People will be the People who can decide for themselves who will be The next POTUS. That’s The American Way.

Just like I, who thinks, The Biden/Administration is incompetent and a failure who is hurting America and The American People.
I accepted, President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. is the Duly Elected 46th President of The United States of America.
I do complain about the The Administration. However, I have never called President Biden “Not my President”.
I do not want President Biden taken out of office using the political tactics being used against President Trump/Former President.
It takes the Power out of the People’s hand and hands over Our Power of The People via the Vote to the government multiple institutions who are suppose to be the servants of The People. Currently many of those institutions no longer want to be servants of The People.
They want Power Over The People to influence their Vote by any means necessary to increase their Power over the people. my :twocents:

No one who reads that indictment should support Donald Trump anymore.

    They have the receipts.

It's sad that some people won't read the indictment and call it a witch hunt, but those people have been pathetic for quite a while.

Meh, there are 37 charges, but much like Manhattan, there's a lot of dups in there.

31 counts for each document listed in the indictment, which is certainly fewer than the FBI retrieved...
32 is Obstruction for both - 100% guilty there
Counts 33-36 all sound basically the same to me... concealing documents from authorities..
Count 37 is Trump lying to Bobb who signed the document saying everything was returned in June
Count 38 is Nauta lying to the FBI about box moving.

So essentially, there are really only 7 counts against Mango, just to keep it easier to keep track of...

Maybe you haven't heard, but sitting behind bars isn't a restriction to running for, and being, President....

But to prevent that, we'd have to rely on "The American People" NOT to have their heads up their ass....

Note that he could have (and should have) been disqualified from running again post Senate conviction for either impeachment....

Clinton, Biden, and Pence all cooperated. Trump did not. If he had just returned the documents, it would have been a 'scandal" for about 48 hours and then fade away. Instead, he lied and obstructed, tried to destroy evidence (the "accidental" draining of the pool) and had his personal valet hide boxes of documents.

Was it a crime when Biden moved classified information from a secure location to his garage in Delaware, or to his office in D.C., or to an office in Chinatown?

How do you know he didn't? Do you have some kind of special access to that information that no one else does?

As president, he has the ultimate authority to declassify anything. No one in any of the three branches can stop a president from declassifying information.

You can call it stupid til the cows come home, but that still doesn't make declassification illegal.

I love how people say he didn't declassify something, when they have no clue if he did, or not.

He has a chance of it getting overturned on appeal on Article 2 grounds.

And he was charged specifically with what I referenced ( 2 of the 37 counts). I realize it doesn’t work the way you want.

Well, note that the infamous "draining of the pool" story is not mentioned in the indictment, so I think we can put that one to bed... Was plenty enough that Nauta was moving things around MAL like Pac Man....

Biden cooperated. Trump didn't. Nothing you people say will change this fact. Trump was given an opportunity to turn the docs over, and instead he lied and obsturcted.

Irrelevant. His illegal possession and mishandling of classified material is a crime.

If you steal a car, then give it back, you're still guilty of grand theft auto.

So your problem isn't that Trump was indicted, you just believe that Biden should also be indicted?

So you at least acknowledge that Trump broke the law, and if we believe in law and order people who break the law should be held accountable?

I have a problem with the double standard that's being applied.

You should too if you're all about the rule of law, like you say you are.

    Cue lip service...

Trump was the president. He has declassification authority. Biden didn't. Did Biden break the law?

BTW, here's the applicable section Biden violated...

    (f)
Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer.
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both

Because he's on tape talking about it like its not been declassified. Plus he said it was a standing order, but no one recalls being given the order.

Not if he does it, no. But he didn't, given how he discussed it and the lies he's told about it.

No, but it does make absconding with things you've haven't declassified illegal.

He's on tape post presidency bragging about how its classified etc. Spare me.

So you don't think Trump should be indicted.

Nothing you say matters to me. Go read the indictment.

    As stated previously: YES.
That'll be a separate case you'll be able to pursue once he's out of office.

No, egoboy, I won't be waiting to learn anything from you. Despite your delusion, you're not a source of reliable information for me.
