OK. It's taking me a while to understand this. I note that Republican candidates make use of fear in their ads, such as fear that illegal immigrants coming across the border wiull take away people's jobs, overwhelm the medical facilities, etc., That definitely differs from the Democratic promises.

The take-away's interesting. Cities are headed by Democratic mayors because promises of something one will gain are more effective than promises that one will not lose something.

Let me rephrase:
-Cities have greater populations of more ethnically/religiously/culturally/economically/what-have-you diverse people.
-Democrats buy votes with campaign promises - that is, through pandering.
-More ethnically/religiously/culturally/economically/what-have-you diverse are less likely to understand they are being pandered to.
Thus, those people vote for Democrats.
And so, Democrat mayors are elected.

OK. So, if a city was composed of people of white European stock as opposed to people from non-European stock, they would naturally be smarter and less likely not to realize that they were being pandered to. They would have Republican mayors. Races differ, right? People of European stock are less easily fooled.

Yep, maybe now you are catching on. When Paul is shooting Brother Peter in the streets and Peter snitches, the whole neighborhood comes down on Peter. But not on Paul.
