We could go back and forth on the training time but even knowing how to operate Soviet Moskhailnyk designed tanks does help maybe a little. Time is not on the side of Ukrainians. Speaking of time I would say that it obviously the Ukraininans who have more pilots than aircraft would have been better off getting the MiGs a.most a year ago. Several retired admirals and generals said so.

Was Poland going to give them their MIG’s and wanted them to be replaced with F16’s?

Yes that was the offer/plan that Poland made. Poland is worried that the fall of Ukraine fall Moldova and the three Baltic states could be next. That in a way is either thinking that NATO would not do what the treaty says or that Trump will get elected in 2024 and Europe along with Ukraine will be screwed.

Was it Biden who didn’t agree to that offer? By 2024 we will know more about what Putin’s plan for Europe is and how the war is going. Voters will decide who will be the best president for the situation at hand.

Yes Biden said something like giving the MiGs to Ukraine would widen the war and others did not want to get Putin mad. That in my way of thinking is a stupid reason and excuse excuse.

Biden said the same about Abrams too. Since the war has escalated he has changed his mind so you can bet Ukraine will get the F16’s eventually.

It will take time to train pilots to fly them so I am betting the training will start soon privately to be ready.

Senator Graham said that the Biden administration needs to start now. I agree with with Graham.

Do you think Biden still knows this will start WW3?

Naw, Putin knows he has no chance against NATO and he is not suicidal so there is little he can realistically do other than bluster.

I should think the first country to attack another is the one that starts a war. In that case, ruZZia has started one. It remains to be seen whether it will develop into WW3. But training Ukrainian pilots is not starting a war, since it's not an act of war.

Not the training but providing Ukraine with F16’’s is what Biden’s said will start WW3. But that is what he will do especially if China supports Russia with weapons.

Doubtful. China is utterly and completely dependent upon the American lead international trading system and if they sell weapons to the fascist Russian dictator then China will lose access to that trade system. That would be suicide for communist China as they are completely dependent upon trade for even the basics such as food, energy, and just the basic inputs to farm. So Xi is on a box and he knows it.

Putin is a nasty bastard but he is not crazy. He knows that he will not win a war against NATO and friends. Putin and his wind up monkeys are good at making threats in fact they are making threats in order to try and stop NATO and the US from supporting Ukraine with military defense materials. Without arterial support Ukraine would be easy pickings for Russia in the median and long run.

    Ukraine Conflict Updates

Ukrainian partisans likely blew up a railway segment in occupied Crimea. The Ukrainian Resistance Center reported on February 24 that Ukrainian partisans damaged a railway station in Bakhchisaray Raion, occupied Crimea.[70] The Resistance Center shared photographs of a cut segment of the railway. Russian sources claimed that unknown actors damaged part of a railroad near Poshtove in Bakhchisaray Raion, approximately 12km northwest of Sevastopol, delaying three civilian transport trains.[71]

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian occupation authorities are attempting to limit the spread of information about Russian military movements in occupied Ukraine. The General Staff reported that mobile operators in Luhansk Oblast cut off all internet access in some areas to prevent residents from spreading information about Russian military actions.[72] The Ukrainian General Staff also reported that occupation officials imposed a 24-hour curfew in Chaplynka, Kherson Oblast – a frequent target of Ukrainian strikes—from February 23 to 25 possibly to transfer Russian military equipment from Crimea to unspecified defensive lines.[73]
