I have to disagree.
He pissed off a lot of blacks and LGBT people, who they say tarnished their cause. If he did something without a victim, maybe he could slip through it, even prosper.
But I have a feeling any place he turns, any audition, will pass on him.

 

They'll get over it. Any disgruntled blacks or sexual deviants are going to quickly find out that getting off the ol' plantation isn't as easy as taking offense at the collectivist mindset. After you've been called a few choice epithets, they'll renounce their evil ways in some sort of group catharsis, and be allowed back into the fold, once penance has been paid.

He surrendered himself at 5 A.M.to the police and is now out on bail.

 

Chicago may not have a charge for them but the reports are the magazine from with the letters were cut to use in the terrorist act was found in their house, that could tie them to a federal crime.

 

If they were here in country, and the reports were all over the news and they did not go to the police to inform them a crime was being committed by Smollett with the false report that possibly could be a charge. But they were out of country in NIgeria and could plead they never heard that a crime had been committed with the reporting of it and the police could hardly prove otherwise. They did not get any kind of deal, other charges may arise but I think their real problem is with the FEDS and the letter.

 

If they did anything Federal, but I doubt the Feds will press anything.

 

Put Mueller on the case (after he turns in his other report).

Well - yeah. A note that threatened someone's life along with a white powdery substance that was meant for people to think was cyanide or somesuch that may have been sent thru the US mail? Yeah, that fits the definition of terrorism and since it was done using the mail, that makes it a federal crime. It's the law.

Look at it this way: A Trump supporter sends - oh, lets's say AOC a note in the mail saying that all donkey-faced women must die and laces it with powdered aspirin. I'm fairly sure you'd be the first one to call it a terrorist attack and a federal crime.

Well as much as it pains me to say this depressed actually has plausible deniability. They should be ashamed of themselves and I hope this further damages their credibility.
