I apologize to those who have followed this debate for the past three years. I was unaware I have to make an opening statement and create a “new topic” for the grounds of discussion on a continuation, but I will be more than happy to follow the Mods/rules/regs of this forum. I was under the impression that you could just put continue and re-establish the debate in a new thread since it was closed due to 500 post (from the previous Evolution was a Joke pt IV), but I was wrong. I apologize for not being able to address what was previously posted – if you could take the time to re-post what we ended with I will be more than happy to address the discussion where it left off and continue.

I start this thread to discuss Evolution. Not GOD!!!

The Theory of Evolution is not a theory. It is a hypothesis that is more a religion than anything science. It has very little holding up the hypothesis except "IF/THEN" statements and fairytales of time machines. As I have stated previously of why I put this in the Religious section of this forum is due to the "fanatical" followers of Darwin's Hypothesis turned religion. It has become a Religion and followed by fanatics who do not even know the meaning of the Hypothesis they follow.

Not all are fanatics, by no means... But there is a large number and percentage by ratio, I have dealt with on evolution, when questioning their "faith", than I have with Christians. The faithful of the church of evolution will attack (become aggressive) when they do not understand or see flaws within their religion. As some of you have read and will notice in the future. I will give every opportunity for discussion with those who so choose, but when you fling dirt, expect it back.

If evolution is not a religion it should be easy that you can provide scientific proof of evolution passing the scientific method to even BECOME a theory, thus giving repeated examples of common descent through experimentation. If that is or cannot be provided the hypothesis is no more than a Religion that people follow and have "FAITH" that common descent is plausible... Thus, per the definition it should be The Darwin Religion unless scientific evidence of common descent can and/or has been established.

How many college level biology courses have you taken? Please, tell me.

You know what pisses off physicists? People who think they have perpetual motion machines. That gets them riled up about as much as creationism does for biologists.

I guess you don't think that astronomy is a science, then, either? Or any other large-scale science that makes direct experimentation difficult?

If it is just a hypothesis and not a theory, then by all means, explain why we only have 46 chromosomes while all other primates have 48.

And while you are at it, explain how we can have bacteria that has adapted to eat nylon, even thou nylon wasn't invented until 75 years ago.

Archaeopteryx is still the oldest therapod known capable of flight, likely making its larger clade the origin of modern birds.

So (*)(*)(*)(*)ing what that there are older dinosaurs with feathers? So birds may have branched off from an earlier member of Archosaurs, the fact is that no one who seriously studies the topic thinks that birds aren't Archosaurs.

Negative, the process within evolution which have been observed within experimentation have, but not common descent. Also, per the processes of random mutation, and natural selection, you cannot predict how an ecosystem will adapt and what will go extinct before any signs…

Good, since I am not a Creationist… I do not want any other religion (outside from evolution itself) being discussed. Religion is “faith” and those who do believe know this, what is remarkable to me is those who believe in evolution also have this faith that those who are telling them “truths” (like the first bird)… are indeed being truthful instead of putting propaganda out that others will follow blindly...

Hard to argue that it's been here for over three years... For one - I stated that it is a faith, and thus ask you, if you believe in evolution to prove it otherwise.
