Bannon got the same sentence eons ago and still hasn't begun serving due to endless appeals.... This doofus will follow the same pattern, as will Hunter if he every remotely gets to this stage...

There is no longer any penalty or stigma attached to defying Congress.... Congress is a powerless entity... If Joe is appointed King by the SCOTUS next month, he should just disband it.... Think of all the money we'll save on midterms??

It was his choice to ignore the subpoenas.

What's the plan here? Slowly dissolve all the branches of government until we have one democrat monarch?

I find it interesting about who gets sentenced for ignoring subpoenas and who doesn’t.

Like Hunter who even went to Capital Hill twice and gave them the middle finger.

Pretty much everybody who gets referred, indicted, tried, and then convicted gets sentenced.... not really all that interesting to me

Well, if you do that first, I'd say the depostion is off for good...

But go ahead and have the Doofus Bros recommend him for COC AFTER his deposition.... See how far that goes in the full Congress, much less the DOJ....

So yeah, it pretty much does go away...

Charge him after he gives it and especially if he refuses to answer questions.

They cannot "charge" him.. they can only recommend the full Congress votes to have the DOJ consider charging him.... lot of hurdles there, and we all know the GOP ain't that coordinated...

If he invokes his 5th Amendment right, there's nothing they can do.

But it's not up to persons served to make that determination.

The Dems had their chance and declined but then the committee which issued it was not legitimate to issue one and then of course the rules of the House about members investigating each other.
