What was happening in Mass. before we instituted Universal Healthcare and what is happening in every other state in the Union is uninsured Middle Class People might get hurt or get Cancer or maybe need a Bi-Pass...and this Hospital Bills for such things are close to $1 Million or even MORE!!!!

The Poor uninsured just will show up with their kids that need an Antibiotic for whatever...and what is really bad is their parents show up at an ER with a kid with a cold which an Antibiotic will not do anything for but help any bacterial infections generated from a colds symptoms such as rubbing ones nose and not using a sterile throw away tissue...etc....so the ER Doc gives the kid an Antibiotic which the parents stop giving the kid a few days in when the kid feels better thus causing the still living Bacteria and Virus to MUTATE in the kids body thus making SUPERBUGS!!!

The point is....these costs are massive...Universal Healthcare is cheaper!!

You know...being an Independent....I don't care if the solution to a problem is created and proposed by a Republican or Democrat....as long as IT WORKS!!!

Even though I appreciate what FOX did for our guy's in Iraq....and earlier I talked about how ticked off I was when I listened to NPR and hear them reporting an outright blatant lie which because of what I do....I KNEW to be untrue.

I am just as P!$$@# OFF at FOX as they have done the same thing and what really frosts my ass is they were B.S.ing about Massachusetts Universal Healthcare being a BUST as they reported that Mass. was several Billion Dollars in the RED because of Romney Care when in fact we have a BUDGET SURPLUS!!!

I really LOVE my country and have had to do things that no one should have to do and when I see AMERICANS....taking sides.....and then the MEDIA...doing the same....it just makes me angry....and if you knew me you would understand that I NEVER GET ANGRY.....in fact both my Team which I hand pick and my ability NOT TO GET ANGRY....or over react....or jump the gun....is the a very large part of what and who we are.

So if I AM P!$$@# about something I see on TV or hear on the Radio......and it this means HELL has frozen over....you should bet on it that there is something really BAD going on!

It might be cheaper if you have most of the people paying for it. I just don't see how cheap it can be when you have 47% of the population not paying for it. If we make those 11 million illegals, citizens, you just have to believe at least half will fall under the government poverty line and raise that 47% up to around 52% not paying any taxes, or on Universal Health Care. How cheap will it be then for the other 48% that are paying taxes? Am I all wet in my thinking? I think this thing is going to bankrupt this country.

I don't think Mass had 47% of the population not paying taxes. Am I right?

Another piece from the children writers at Huffing Paint Post. :roflol:

I have shoes in my closet older than the author of that article. Sorry, I don't place much credibility in articles written by kids, they simply don't have enough life experience to transcribe anything but the mush shoveled into their heads by liberal university professors. I think that's why the Huffing Paint Post uses them.

We have a solution for that.

    Sales Tax....Vice Tax....Luxury Tax...etc.

Mass. Income Taxes are relatively a low percentage of ones paycheck.

But where they get you is they tax you on everything you can't either wear as cloths or buy as unprepared food.

This way....everyone pays and those who have the money to buy more and more expensive stuff pay more tax.

I do hope you are not referring to me....as I was an ACTUAL PROFESSORIAL ASSISTANT at a world renown Massachusetts Learning Institution.....not just someone who used the word Professor as part of the Forum Name.

Does that mean they don't take it out of Federal taxes? If so, that would be good. But doesn't some of those taxes go to cities? I know we have a food tax that goes to help pay the cities' bills.

I think that Mass probably does have a higher percentage of people paying Federal Taxes than the National Average....but since MASSACHUSETTS RIGHT NOW IS ON IT'S OWN....

.....what I mean is we are only using MASSACHUSETTS COLLECTED TAXES to pay for our Universal Healthcare as the Federal System is not yet in place.....it kinda renders your point moot. Sorry.

So...we are paying for our own Universal Healthcare....getting no Federal Assistance as far as that goes....paying for all our other things and still have a Balanced Budget with a SURPLUS!!!

In fact it is believed the Universal Healthcare might possibly be responsible for our Budget Surplus as more people paying less money for insurance means more buying power and since the Mass. Tax System is centered around SALES TAX...well....there you have it.

Of course I'm not referring to you, unless you're a liberal "PROFESSORIAL ASSISTANT". What makes you think I'm not a real Professor?

Then forgive me for writing my post to you.

The reason why I questioned whether you were referring to me is because I think I had mentioned before I had been an Assistant Professor at a well known Mass. Institute....and because you happened to use the word Professor's in your post I must be tired or something...but I ASSUMED you might have directed your post at me...but I wasn't certain.

So I apologize for doing something I try very hard not to do...ASSUME ANYTHING.

Just watching the morning news shows. Fox News is talking about Obamas speech yesterday. MSNBC is talking about the shutdown and Ted Cruz and how bad the Republicans will be defeated in coming elections.

Its like switching between adults and children. But at least I can relate to where libs are getting their talking points. The only question is which is lamer... MSNBC or Huffpo. I'd say its a toss up.

Like they say... conservatives may hate the things a person does... but liberals hate the person.

Democrats, the party of losers and whiners.

I have to tell you I take issue with your post.

I am neither Democrat or Republican....as I am a Massachusetts Independent who is Socially Liberal and Fiscally Conservative and I believe that both Parties have a few good ideas and a few good men in each of them....but nearly not enough good ideas and men for both.

You complain about Liberals and I can say I am sure there are many things I might agree with you as far as mistakes and misconceptions of an Ultra-Left Wing Agenda....but what YOU consider Fringe and what I consider it might be different.

I can say the same about Conservatives because I read you as almost being a Conservative Agenda Cheerleader...but again....there are far too many idiots pushing a way out of whack Conservative Agenda that is more about exclusivity than being inclusive.

All I can say is if you knew even 10% of some of the things I am aware of due to my...JOB....you...I think...would very quickly change your opinion upon backing either Party.

LOL, I suppose it's hard to believe, but if you knew 5% of the things I'm aware of because of MY job, you'd know how damaging the lefts' agenda is to our freedom. I'll admit both parties have their faults, but only one is out to fundamentally change our country. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which party that is.

Now I am curious....what is your job?

But I still feel you are thinking that one party is more virtuous than the other....which they are not.

If I could ask you....and remember I am not a supporter of either parties line....what specifically about the Democratic Parties ideology or agenda irks you?

This comment in 2008 by Obama seems to completely escape the liberal mind. Obama has indeed changed our nation, but sadly not for the better, we haven't been this divided since the Civil War, which could very well be deja vu all over again

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”

This coming from the most divisive far left loon president in the history of the United States

Obviously, I'm not willing to share that much personal information, but suffice it to say I see the effects of that Big Brother mentality on a daily basis. Decisions are being made by people with no knowledge of how things work on the private sector, ie real world.

In a nutshell, I believe Dems think more govt is the answer to every problem. I don't happen to agree with that philosophy. Do you?

I'm afraid weve already passed the point of no return with Obamacare. No longer can Americans boast about living in the land of the free. We're becoming just another nanny state like our European counterparts. Too bad.

Have you heard Hannity's interview with the Obamacare exch lady last nite? Priceless... nothing like hearing what a disaster it is straight from the horses' mouth.

    You should check it out.

Not the first time and will not be the last, as for the viewership, they much prefer lies that agree with their point of view and opinions than to hear the truth, look at the sites righties quote here as sources of "information". Nope the right does not mind the lies, they just do not like anyone pointing it out.

Nope, I stopped listening to the ramblings of Hannity years ago, he has proven himself nothing more than a hack for the far right-wing long ago, meaning he has no credibility, but still there is no reason to call him a horse, that is not nice of you.

Whatta surprise... libs refusing to face reality.

The lady he interviewed was very helpful. I'd bet the Obama machine had her fired this morning. Truth is not something
    they put up with.
