my guess is that Paul is laying the groundwork for a 2024 run

First of all, Paul did his best to talk over Dr. Fauci to keep him from responding. But, in the end it was Paul that looked like the lier.

Not an insult. I have a PhD and 20+ years experience in biomedical research, but I am not a virologist, so I have to read up on some of the aspects of the paper. I just doubt that a layman will be able to fully grasp the paper unless they do a ton of background research into terminology. And that assessment comes from years of experience getting upper level science majors to read and understand original research papers.
