"Medical" came about to treat illnesses/health issues. Unless it's ectopic, a pregnancy is not an illness/unhealthy. Therefore, medicine is purely being used as a contraceptive, because the people whose it's, "Their Body, Their Choice", just can't seem to make their choice before conceiving.
