Financial isolation of Iran

Now they cut Iranian banks off from global financial system. All this measures are not legally, as Iran does not violate international laws. And the people must suffer for the west´s devilish imperialism.

Edit: Don't worry about the Iranians. They will work out arrangements to use Chinese and Russian banks, and thereby circumvent the direct SWIFT ban.

 

What ever the Iranians do to circumvent the SWIFT ban, it´s a crime to isolate a country, that does not...

That makes me just sick. "Free world!" In a free world, the countries do not threat and bomb weaker countries, they do not monitor and controll the people, they do not have undifferentiated partyies and they do not let their own people starve to death while funding a 600 billion dollar army.

You can say whatever you want about Iran, but since the Islamic Revolution one thing has been consistent: the Islamic Republic of Iran has been no friend to the West. They have particularly got in the face of America and Israel, but they have been unfriendly to Europe and even Japan and their whole raison d'etre is a rejection of Western society for a traditional Islamic state. This has been extended to assistance to movements elsewhere and attempts to take advantage of local Shia populations outside Iran.

So if they are currently annoying the West more than usual (the Iranian nuclear program), I see nothing wrong with kicking them out of a key, Western-based financial service. If you annoy the adults, don't be surprised if you are sent to your room without supper.

Well if I lived there I would be enraged at the west being as they have invaded,bombed and murdered their way across the middle east for decades. Germany was in ruins after WWII, Japan was in ruins and nuked, Europe was in ruins, Eastern Europe was comminist, Korea was in the middle of a civil war lasting decades...All these countries are prosperous democracies today.

The arab world was not ruined, was not nuked, was not in the middle of a civil war... Yet the arab world was a huge desert then, with a few exceptions it still is. The civilized states got over the past and their grievances, moved on and rebuilt their states and their economies. The arabs developed an obsession with Israel and the West instead.
