    The zero death data for school children is accurate. The raw data you referenced does not disprove that because the data does not include relevant facts.

    And running away from “Seasonal Flu is much more deadly to children” which is FALSE

    And running away from “Seasonal influenza is a serious risk to all age group, and Covid is not”, which is FALSE

    And running away from the United States by quoting Sweden as an example, and a specific period, which is ABSURD

    And running away from “We can’t compare without knowing the medical conditions”.

    Correction; The zero death data for Swedish school children is accurate

    One tiny part of the world sets a precedent for the rest of the world.

    Really?

    Geeeeeeze, what about Canada’s 800 Covid deaths per 1M pop VERSUS Sweden’s 1,500?

    Here comes the Yeah but, Yeah but, and Yeah buts

    Canada/Sweden number of Children Covid deaths, as of Dec 10, 2021

    Canada; Age 0 to 19............19 deaths
    Canada’s population; 38 million

    Sweden; Age 0 to 19............14

    Anticipated response from AFM; Can’t compare without knowing Sweden and Canada’s Children medical conditions.

    Let’s continue;

    Canadian/Swedish Children under age 18 Covid death rates;

    Canada; 19 Covid Deaths/8 million = 0.0000023

    Sweden; 14 Covid Deaths/2 million = 0.0000070

    Compared to Sweden, perhaps Canada did a better job at directly protecting their 18 and under?

    If not, then perhaps the following factors;

    Canada’s school closures/On-line schooling?

    If not,

    Canada/Sweden Children Vaccination rates?

    If not,

    Canada/Sweden Children obesity rates?

    If not,

    Canada/Sweden Children diabetes rates?

    If not,

    Canada/Sweden other comorbidity rates, Children under age 18?

    If not,

    Quality of Canada/Sweden Pediatric health care systems?

    If not,

    Timing of Covid surges, thus, what period of the year Canadian/Swedish Children are generally outside/inside?

    If not,

    So many other factors to consider......Who wants to provide the comparison details of all of the above/other factors, and then, reach a conclusion?

    I’ve done my part, thus, let’s ask AFM

    Global data clearly shows that infection mortality rates and risk is extremely low for the young and healthy.

    But not in the U.S.!......I’ve already analyzed the numbers

    And you keep moving your goalposts......”Global data”

    WTF?

    Global obesity rate; 13%

    U.S. obesity rate; Over 40%

    Why the Global rate is significantly lower?

    Perhaps because over 1 billion people in the world are undernourished and starving.

    Question; Do U.S. Children age 0 to 4 generally go to school?

    Reason I’m asking;

    Influenza mortality rate during the 2019/2020 Flu Season in the United State by age group;

    Age 0 to 4.........1.8 deaths per 100,000 pop
    Age 5 to 17........0.3 deaths per 100,000 pop

    Source; Statista.com

    However, according to your Global Data?????, Seasonal Flu is more deadly to school Children.

    That is correct. Seasonal influenza is more deadly to the young than covid. Nice try using only one year to “prove” something.

    How many persons were admitted and how many persons were released? What is the average stay in the hospital? What is the death totals (which lag hospitalizations by ~ 1 week). What are the ages and medical histories of persons in the ICU and who have tragically passed away?

    This article is meaningless without the supporting information. And is a further example of the incredible incompetence of the main stream media that we have in the US today.

    Have at it. The global data clearly show that seasonal influenza is more deadly to the young and healthy.

    BTW, please investigate the harm to the young resulting from closing schools.
