The situation is simply that unvaccinated people will keep the pandemic going by catching and spreading covid. Vaccinated people will either put up with this situation or do something about it.

Three hours was a good day. When I was a "youngin'" it was quick. Now, facing 70, it takes a lot longer.

 

Wow. I didn't know there were that many people in all of Nova Scotia, let alone in the health department.

 

I did my part. I got vaccinated. I have a lot more in my life to concentrate on now that I'm vaccinated than the China Virus.

No. Dems want us to concentrate on the China Virus 24/7. Worry about it, be scared about it, sacrifice your livelihood for it... obey. That way you'll be too busy to worry about inflation, Taiwan, taxes, spending, the border invasion, the economy, ships lined up at our ports, surrendering to the Taliban, arming the Taliban, phentenol, rising murder rates, criminals set free after arrest, looting, no punishment for theft under $950, Hunter's laptop, etc.

 

Why make such an obviously untrue claim?

If this is true, it suggests most of them would want an end to the pandemic. They worry about covid and they're unlikely to change their view unless they become convinced their concerns are unwarranted.

But .... many people are reacting to the virus by changing their consumption patterns. They're not traveling as much, so people working for airlines are losing their jobs, not 'sacrificing their livelihood.' Covid is hurting the economy and unless you can convince people to ignore the risk of catching covid the economic problems won't go away.

Canada has recovered all the jobs lost during the pandemic while we're still millions short. Why? They have less virus around. This is the situation for the past week for an area with about 3m people in Vancouver, BC...



The virus isn't gone, but people are pretty relaxed. (I live here part of the year, but have decided to wait out the virus in BC because they've never had lockdowns.)

What makes you think liberals don't consider these matters? They react differently to some of the concerns, but they're not oblivious.

There isn't a single item on your list above I haven't considered and talked about with liberal folks. I don't like hearing BS when I outline how we could cut way back on hiring illegals, especially when I think my ideas are being dismissed because they think they'll work. They think I'm unsympathetic.

Canada has fewer China Virus cases because they have fewer PEOPLE. Please present your statistics in terms of "per 100,000 population". Otherwise its meaningless. I can assure you that California as more cases than Saskatoon. But "per 100,000"? Maybe not.
