You provided the link. Show us where it says "enforcement" in that multi-page document. Those who sign on board with this program do so voluntarily because they see benefits in achieving those goals. That you don't see those benefits and instead see stormtroopers says a lot about you and your fears.
There has to be rules governing people's conduct in order to achieve the stated goals and there has to be some way to enforce those rules. Everytime in history that a government promised utopia, it was put in place by force.
Again, where in that document does it say "utopia"? So that's the new objection to sensible multi-national collaboration? Utopia or bust?
Do you understand what happened with Russian "Five Year Plan" and its role in the demise of the old Soviet Union? Production on government owned farms was so low that people were starving. There was no incentive for the farmers to to work hard or produce well, since they got the same compensation no matter what their output was. Eventually, the government was forced to give 5% of the land to the farmers for their own use to sell and make a personal profit. Soon, that 5% of the land was far outproducing the other 95%. The farmers needed the incentive to work hard. Without it, they didn't care. It was proof positive that Utopian systems just don't work. Good will is nice, but can't match personal profit for motivating people to work.
Utopia means no one is working for profit... its all just smiles and happiness. That has nothing to do with our effort to get to the moon. Apples and space shuttles.
I did not claim that research does not matter. I claim the research I have seen runs counter to your initial claim. As for our intelligence, it does little to counter our bias which blinds us. All humans are deeply biased and largely oblivious to their bias. This along with other aspects of our nature make the social harmony required for a one world government impossible without extreme governmental control like seen in North Korea.
Ah, I see now. You just don't have an understanding of what words mean. Here, I will help you: u·to·pi·a [yo͞oˈtōpēə] NOUN an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. Compare with dystopia. "misplaced faith in political utopias has led to ruin" · "a romantic vision of Utopia" a·gen·da [əˈjendə] NOUN a list of items to be discussed at a formal meeting: "the question of nuclear weapons had been removed from the agenda" a plan of things to be done or problems to be addressed: "he vowed to put jobs at the top of his agenda" · "the government had its own agenda" SIMILAR: schedule program timetable lineup list listing the underlying intentions or motives of a particular person or group: "Miller has his own agenda and it has nothing to do with football" NORTH AMERICAN ENGLISH an appointment diary. So, there's no semantic connection other than what exists in your mind.
Again, how do you believe the UN will achieve its 2030 Agenda? You think everyone is going to just say, "ok, let's do it"?
I'm sorry, but I am not here to re-educate you. If you do not understand how international agreements, pacts, and alliances are formed, then I would strongly suggest a history tutor. Nonetheless, I thank you for providing a living example of what the OP is all about. If you care to elaborate on where the genesis of your confusion comes from, that would be appreciated.
It's exactly ON TOPIC.. talking about that dreamland in "Agenda 2030" (which you copied into one of your own posts
You've taken the explanation I'd offered, about why larger government structures seem more imposing, and tied it back to the association of governments & corporations, suggested among the questions in Lucifer's OP-- well done! I would only change your wordings, from "Having a FEAR," and "real DANGER to," into something more like "Recognizing the genuine, POTENTIAL dangers to ourselves, posed by powerful corporations, is a healthy understanding to use in crafting society's laws, rules, and regulations, applying to corporate entities-- and an appreciation we should never lose."
