Former top Twitter official forced to leave home due to threats amid ‘Twitter Files’ release

Twitter’s former head of trust and safety has fled his home due to an escalation in threats resulting from Elon Musk’s campaign of criticism against him, a person familiar with the matter told CNN on Monday.
Roth has since been the subject of criticism and threats following the release of the Twitter Files. However, things took a dark turn over the weekend when Musk appeared to endorse a tweet that baselessly accused Roth of being sympathetic to pedophilia — a common trope used by conspiracy theorists to attack people online.
A person familiar with Roth’s situation told CNN threats made against the former Twitter employee escalated exponentially after Musk engaged in the pedophilia conspiracy theory.

I think Musk deserves an award for exposing all of these pedos. Bravo I say.

 

Dude Yoel Roth did his PHD thesis on giving minors access to Grindr and other adult content.
He has wondered, publicly, on the platform, if high school students can in some configuration be said to be able to meaningfully consent to sex with their TEACHERS.
He was the head of trust and safety who refused to remove KNOWN and VERIFIED child porn images that the VERIFIED VICTIM requested be removed.
The ****ing FEDS had to get involved before they would take action, and in fact prior to that they said the content LITERAL child porn of 13 yrolds didn't violate platform rules.
Its a fair statement.

He posted factual information about the inner workings of censorship designed to attack a political party and its members. Ironically, Congress calls these people in to testify under oath and they just lie about and go on their merry way with nobody caring about the impacts of Congress calling them in to testify. But, now they can't lie about it. The full truth came out as it should have been when they were under oath. If he hadn't lied and used his position to disenfranchise half of America he wouldn't have people pissed off at him. It's not Musk's fault for sharing factual information that is highly newsworthy. If our media today had any ounce of credibility, this would have already been leaked and disclosed. It's incredible that he got away with his behavior for so long.

Additionally, Roth publicly supported a website that was involved in trafficking children to the LGBT+ community and was publicly upset when it was shut down by the government. Then as head of Twitter's Trust and Safety he led the team that decided to do little to nothing about the child pornography on the site. It was leaked that they were trying to figure out how to monetize porn on Twitter (Yoel loved porn on Twitter and publicly cheered each time they won a victory keeping it on the platform), but they didn't know how to monetize it legally because child porn was rampant on their website. In order to monetize porn they would have to start targeting child pornography and they decided it was too much work and thought it was best to just ignore the problem and let it be.

Keep in mind that this is just what we know from previous leaks before Musk took over and the information that Musk recently had published. Musk likely has a lot more data and context than the information we already know which is already overwhelmingly bad for Yoel. The idea that it's baseless to say he wasn't "sympathetic" to child porn ignores a lot of information.

 

What I've noticed with liberals is that when they're not accusing their opponents of what they themselves are doing, when they get caught with their hands in the cookie jar their best and only defense is to pretend to be a victim of something.

Not only am I calling BS on this guy, I'm also saying he made his case worse by sniveling to CNN.

Look, Roth may or may not be a pedophile personally, but his pattern of behavior over the years leave ample basis for accusing him of, at a minimum, being sympathetic to pedophilia.

'Twitter was far more focused on removing conservative speech than removing CSE.' Roth had a specific interest in the boundaries of acceptability regarding children and sexual material.

Roth’s PhD thesis was 'about his own use of the gay hookup app Grindr, and he suggests that Grindr would be a useful app for gay kids to socialize. He sees Grindr as an appropriate venue for children.'

Now the Lying Fake News Media claims 'that even bringing this up is putting Roth in danger. Every criticism Musk has made of any of his high profile employees puts them “in danger.”' They often play this card when a lefty gets criticized.
