Fox News cancels Lou Dobbs’ show; pro-Trump host not expected to be back on air

I doubt that Scorsese would take the job. Explosions and green screens and special effects aren't his thing.

 

I've been watching Shepard Smith on CNBC most evenings.

 

Spoken like someone who's never read "Mein Kamph."

 

They're sheeple. They get told that the Nazis were socialists like today's left, but they won't read anything like a decent history of the events leading up to WWII, or heaven forbid read "Mein Kamph" and get the Nazi ideology from it's founder. Hint: not a leftist.

 

Same people should also be arguing that the German Democratic Republic weren't communists and American cheese is actually cheese.

Interesting. The last two sentences of the OP LA Times story:

"Dobbs’ program typically averaged around 300,000 viewers a night in the 7 p.m. Eastern hour, the largest audience on any business news channel.

But his program was a loss leader for Fox Business Network as major advertisers steered clear of it, probably out of fear of consumer boycotts."

TV ratings typically means the number of viewers so it doesn't look like that was the reason.

And the last sentence seems to support your observation that bad publicity is better than no publicity, or at least it was until it became an even bigger loss leader.

 

Sorry ... haven't seen Smith since Dobbs' demise.

Call it whatever you like, but nationalism is the norm in places like Japan, because they actually have pride in their culture. The West lost its way culturally decades ago.

 

I think you misinterpreted my post. I like Tucker specifically because he goes against the narrative. I was mocking the establishment.

 

Nationalism does not mean outright lying and trying to piss off people as much as possible. Please do not compare American nationalists to Japanese citizens — as someone who has traveled there extensively — you are nothing alike.
