FOX news is so gay, so where are the MAGA people going to run to now?

Happy gay pride month, Fox news! Let the world know that you are busy, busy busy grooming unsuspecting heterosexuals into doing the butt dance and stuff like that!

To be fair, I don't think the problem here is simple hypocrisy. The news report isn't expressing Fox News' opinion on the flags at the White House, it is just reporting what other people are saying about it. It is obviously selective with which commentary and opinions they report on and prioritise, but this will be much more about what they think will sell to their audience than what the people in charge actually believe.

All of this is, of course, true of pretty much all mainstream news sources. Somewhat ironically, it isn't the mainstream news that promotes it's own opinions anything like as much as "alterative" media which so often accuses the mainstream of bias when anything is reported that goes against the bias opinions of those "alternative" sources.

I think the core problem is that those people who care most about their socio-political opinions assume that everyone else has the same priorities, without realising that most people (and certainly most businesses) care most about money.

 

That may be the case, but the effect is the same.

 

Fox has had openly gay commentators and guests for a long time. Donald Trump appointed Rick Grenell to be Ambassador to Germany. He was a Fox commentator and told everyone he was gay. I’d vote for him to be a Representative or Senator in a minute.

Most conservatives, except the extremely religious, frankly bigoted ones, have no problem with gay people. It’s gays who tell us every minute that they are gay and vow to use public office to further gays issues only that I can’t stand. I don’t care what party label they use, I won’t vote for them. The same would go for a straight person who spends time bragging about their sexuality. I support those who are effective at their job who happen to be gay or straight.

 

It is hard for me to understand why someone would fear a news network.

 

As person who is not gay I can attest to the fact that straight people are getting sick and tired of gay people thrusting their gayness in our faces.

Is that really something you experience? The gay thing seems to be rather passe now. They might get booted from the LGBTQAPIPERTYWDSTQQQQUQQQQQQ because they don't like getting busy with trans people of the opposite sex.

 

I don't see an opposition to being LGBTQ+ from the right. Their objections to teachers discussing sexuality or having bio males in the girls room are reasonable.

 

then why the laws in Florida and Texas that specifically target the LGBTQ community ranging from denial of certain civil rights to banning books such as Two Penguins and an egg? Of the 1600 plus book titles that were banned, a majority came from conservative states with 41% having an LGBTQ theme or character in that book. That is not being sexually explicit, it it? And none of these books were on the approved reading list for English Composition classes, just in the damn school libraries.

 

No, but they keep inundating me with gay pride this and gay pride that to the point that it's making me vomit two or three times a day. Why do gay people need be such attention seekers? Did you see the trans woman showing his fake breasts on the White House lawn at Biden's gay month celebration?

 

Calling people bigots is a very common way to deflect from the topic.

I was talking to someone about guys in puppy play fetish gear interacting with a child and they were trying to call me a homophobe... I guess i have to tell my same sex spouse that i am afraid of him because in order to be gay I have to act out fetish in public involving people that don't or can't consent.

We are close to being kicked out of the lgbt because we can't just switch our sexuality. interesting how in 15 years the lgbt became bible thumpers

 

So their existence annoys you. Liberace was pretty flamboyant. The list of celebrities who were fabulously in your face with their androgyny or cross dressing behavior is pretty long. Now it’s a problem because there’s a flag.

 

I don't remember Liberace as ever advertising or promoting homosexuality. As I remember him he was a great band leader musical director.

 

I don't recall real men having a problem with gay people being out. It's all about insecurity.

 

I pass gay people on the street every day and I have no idea they're gay until they wave their flag at me. I'm not the one with the identity crisis.

 

I call BS on people waving pride flags in the street at you every day. And if knowing people are gay bothers you, then yes, the identity crises is on your side. Are you against straight couples holding hands in public?

Fox has had known gay/lesbian/bisexual anchors and commentators on its network for years. Tammy Bruce is my favorite of the bunch.

 

How come all of these companies that produce products don't simply concern themselves with producing the product and marketing it to the consumer instead now they all have to celebrate various manners of perversion and we're supposed to clap along with them or we're bigoted or something.

 

There's been gay people on FOX for years. Nobody cares. Now if they were into sexualizing children it would be a different story. The problem isn't with homosexuality. The problem is when you people started trying to shove it in kindergarden through 8th grade.
