Heterosexual couples get it when they have reproductive issues yet you are claiming gays don't have reproductive issues due to same sex attraction so you must think insurance companies shouldnt have to pay.

Kids have eyes and ears, they are insatiably curious. The more you try to hide something from a kid, the more that kid is likely to dig until he finds what he was searching for. They know full well that there are gay kids right in their midst and most of them don't care one whit about it.

So actually, just talking with kids about what is an obvious reality, namely that gay people exist, is indeed allowing kids to be kids.

It's those anally retentive. emotionally stunted Jesus freaks who have the intelligence of, say, a gas stove, who want to suppress anything they think is bad and guess what - their children find out all about this stuff anyway. Not only that, the straight kids, upon hearing or seeing this stuff, remain straight, the gay kids remain gay and the ones who are unsure are (surprise!) unsure.

I cannot refer to a party that seeks to control all our lives at the federal level instead of letting people run rule themselves in their own localities and states, as somehow democratic. It's just to disingenuous. Regardless of your preferred grammar.

 

First of all, I'm well aware of what children are, thank you. I was once a child myself and I've raised a child to adulthood, so I am in no need of "explanations" from you or anyone else, particularly those who, in one way or another, are unwilling to let children be children. Sexualizing young children is only part of the problem I'm talking about, just as homosexuals sexualizing children are only part of the problem.

Secondly, I'm not a religious person, so your hostility and bigotry towards religious people doesn't confront me. Furthermore, I know far too many "progressives" who have the intelligence of, say, a gas stove. Worse yet, many of those so-called "progressives" are authoritarian swine who not only can't leave children alone, they can't leave other adults alone. They're easily as big a problem in this country as the Bible thumpers they are incessantly bleating and babbling about, and the funny part is they're exactly alike in so many respects. They're each evangelicals in their own right who have their ideologies and dogmas that they can't stop trying to ram down other people's throats.

FWIW, I didn't shelter my child from the world or discourage his curiosity. Far from it. Yet the fact remains that there are too many adults in this world, many of whom have never had and never will have children themselves, who can't leave children alone and let children be children for the brief period of time they have to enjoy that special period in their lives. And it's not just the homosexuals who can't leave children alone, it's straights in the media and entertainment industry, it's self-serving wacktivists and politicians, et al, and they don't give a damn that children aren't adults and aren't prepared to assume the responsibilities and consequences that come with being an adult. Not surprisingly, they're also the last people who give a **** when a young girl gets pregnant, a young boy commits a serious criminal offense or a child otherwise wrecks their life before they've reached the age of eighteen.
