    DSM-5 uses religion, culture, spirituality, and race as a context in evaluating individuals when determining mental disorders. But it does not list religion and culture itself as a mental disorder.

    It does however list gender dishoripa as a disorder. Homosexuality in animals does fit the definition of a reproductive disorder.

    I'd argue that homosexuality is a mental disorder that affects the ability of a person to reproduce and it was listed as such but was removed for no reason I can see except perhaps political reasons.

    It can hardly be deemed functional to either impregnate someone just to leave them or to not be able to have biological children with the person you intend spend the rest of your life with. It is also dysfunctional to have to stay in sexual relationship you have no interest in just so you can raise biological children.

    People with reproductive disorders do have other options such as Invitro and adoption etc... But that doesn't mean they cease to have a reproductive disorder.

    If you missed it, then the use of sexuality in movies and advertising has been subtle for you to notice. Or maybe you don't notice it because no-one makes noise about like they do about homosexuals. You might want to ask yourself why you are so triggered about gays. Could it its because your political leaders talk about it non-stop?
