You must be pretty young to spout off such an ill informed viewpoint.

Certainly stirred the pot, didn't I?

    A thought -

It seems to me that ALL standard "news sources" show a bias depending upon who owns them.

I think one of the reasons governments and major news outlets fear the internet is that often news gets out without being filtered through them. I see many instances where things are reported on the internet that take 2 or 3 days to reach so-called "standard" news sources.

The 24 hour news services work well for those who are unable to set aside time to watch news on air at acceptable times such as early morning, noon, or early evening. It's convenient to turn on a "cable" source any time one wishes.

Me? If I want the latest news, I check online news sources like Google or Yahoo.

The answer to the question is that they pander to the Cons, hence why so many Cons watch it. Add up the other news stations, which according to some are all Liberal, and then compare the numbers, who has the most viewers then? Funny how people always avoid that, using faulty math gives one faulty results, so simple even a Con can understand it if they really try or are not being played again. Oh and by the way I would venture to guess that the majority of people do not get their news from cable news, but get it from the broadcast stations and I would say the same results can be gotten from them, add up the numbers and see who is watching what most often.

lol, u certainly know they are proven liars, repeatedly...and im even sure just like u liked it when repubs openly said they wudnt pass anything bi-partisan so no one cud think obama did something good, u like them (fox) lying about this outrageous president and the stuff he did too, after all this might increase conservatives chances next time.

Doesn't your browser have a spell-checker? You need to use it if you want to be taken seriously.

I find that the depth of the reporting on Fox is lacking. I like their right leaning bias...... all the others lean left.

well thats quite honest and understandable; u like fox cause their "truth" fits your worldview better, even tho u know that the quality of their "news" is weak. the very reason so many watch fox, because the actual truth doesn't fit conservatives world views anymore.

so the guy who differentiates between news sources, who thinks that pretty much all tv-news sucks and who probably gets his news from somewhere outside television - he is programmed??? while you, a fox disciple, are a free rational thinker?? ok, sure....:roflol:

Well, Fox does tell them that they are 'fair and balanced' and that, to a conservative, ranks right next to the Bible for truth, accuracy and credibility. If Fox says so it must be right...

You start out your response nicely and then you go and ruin it with a smart-ass Lib-biased comment. The fact that Fox does not have the depth of reporting I would like has nothing to do with you alleged comment that, "truth doesn't fit conservatives world view anymore" .

No logic necessary, just make something up if you can't think of anything else. Classic conservative 'tactic'.

well, i wud disagree with that; im pretty sure they (fox) wud just go with facts and reality if that wud support their agenda, but these things doesn't fit their agenda so they go a different route
obviously u might have different reasons to watch fox, but u sounded like the average fox-viewer, so i made a generalization on your example, im sorry if i haven't done justice to you that way

Tell a lie over and over with subtle changes and people will start to believe it's true. A Fox ploy.

Terrific. Try leading with,"I engage a topic with rational thought informed by ethical considerations"..... Instead, you come off sounding like some brain dead knob that is looking for 'balance fpr balance's sake' in the reported facts. You're not as cool as you think you are.
