    Legal is different from heavy usage.

    I would wager to guess there are far more heavy users in the US (even when adjusted to percentage of the population).

    And who cares if they were .. is non squitur fallacy -- "does not follow". Just because someone smokes pot - Drinks Alcohol - or drives a car .. doesn't mean they are mass murderers. Perhaps it was eating Chicken Nuggets that caused the dude to go scatty.. need to study the rate of chicken nugget consumption among mass murderers.

    What ? They all ate Chicken Nuggets ? .. OMG -- we need to ban Chicken Nuggets.

    You keep trying to directly compared US and Canada.

    Canada has population density of 4 per sq km
    US has a population density of 34 per sq km

    Most Canadians are well out of pistol shot range of each other. And yes, I know that your cities are more dense than the hinterlands, please don't bore us with more inane repetition of the painfully obvious.

    if a pharmacist is giving a child marijuana it's cause they have life-threatening seizures without it - and they will id the parent

    that is how it works when legalized

    Who cares if it is stronger .. you smoke till you get high .. weak stuff you take 20 puffs .. strong stuff you might need only 5 ... makes zero difference in the grande scheme of things

    It's also possible your body has simply adjusted and increased its tolerance level. You've used it so long that it now takes more to give you the same effect. It's a similar story for nicotine and alcohol, or most any other drug like opioids. So you might not realize it is stronger, if it still seems to be giving you the same effect that it did before.

    Obvious attempt to deflect and derail by bringing up another completely separate contentious issue noted.

    Maybe if you were not smoking that weed, your brain would be in a better condition to think up some actual argument.

    That's not a derail. The only point is letting people know mass murderers could use other means if those guns weren't there.
    (It depends on the what the thread is specifically about though. In some cases it could be a derail)
