There was also a genocide of Pontian Greeks who had lived in the Black Sea area for three thousand years. Later on it was known as the Kingdom of Trebizond. These people were subjected to the same attrocities as the Armenians, but not according to Erdogan. His latest brilliance is that commemorating the Pontian genocide is 'racism'. WHAT?

 

@Snake. I think you need to prioritise your anger so that it makes more sense, perhaps? Any one man only has so much emotional currency, and for some reason, you are spending it all on some party called the Golden Dawn, in a land you have likely not visited, let along lived in, let alone have any idea what has really been happening to Greeks and a great nation, due to thieves and scammers in the EU and their agents in the Greek body politic.

At worse, movements like the GD are merely an organic reaction to the above, so yet again, why not direct your anger at that which creates the conditions, and that is perpetual greed, undermining nation states, and so on? Those are all the reasons you need to explain all that you need to know.

I cannot believe that as someone that presumably considers themselves a British citizen, that you can be so arrogant and so self righteous when the shot callers in this island, who right about now, are preparing to arm terrorist killers in Syria, so they can overthrow a Gov for them. How can you live in an island, Gov by that, and by taking the moral high ground over the GD and getting all hysterical over it?

Where is your perspective, your self reflection, your honestly to look here first?

Way down your list of reasons to get angry would be GD, not right up there among the top few, as you have been.

By all means though, save all your emotional anger for a relatively minor party, in a land that is not your land.

If a crime is committed vigilantism isn't the way to solve it; that's the province of the police. If anything this sort of mindless violence will do nothing but foment even more violence. You really don't think this stuff through, do you love?

Furthermore quoting a source which describes Afghans as "subhuman" (lovely Nazi terminology there), and makes clearly racist assumptions ("probably Muslims"), is hardly going to get people rallying to your side, nor will it attach even a hint of credibility to your stance.

 

I have done something about it, 'chum'. I have exposed your bigotry; but actually I never had to, because you've done a fine job of it yourself. Your inability to respond to the clear inconsistencies I highlighted speaks volumes. Why do you think it acceptable for Golden Dawn to attack Muslims but not for Israelis? I've raised this twice now.
