No. Your offering relativism fallacies that you think diminish the claims of hardship by the state of Texas by intentionally ignoring the fact that initial crossers demand more services.

You're right, I don't know what these cities mean when they say sanctuary. Other than "give us your vote".

To his defense, it's pretty hard to get anything but propaganda in the DRC ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So you're now saying that the near three million settled illegals in California make money for California? I thought all illegals only come over for free benefits

Nope, can't even do fhat. For all the right makes these silly claims about illegals voting in masse they seem to have difficulty coming up with a single case. Oh sure there are the ex-cons voting illegally in Florida but those weren't immigrants and judges have already tossed some (all?) of their cases.
Stupid, ignorant racism is my guess.

If there is no way to tell if someone registering to vote is legitimately allowed to register to vote then how do we know illegals aren't voting in elections?

We know Democrats think black people are too dumb to get IDs therefore they pretend we can't have voter ID because of their racism so what else would be the reason for that besides their racism?

So they're either klansman or they're cheaters which is it

Don't forget lowering the voting age to a group of young Americans that think their Rep on fortnite is the most important achievement in their lives ;)

What is the voting age being lowered to? And when is it going into effect? For the record, I’m totally AGAINST lowering the voting age.

Progressive Democrats in the House of Representatives unsuccessfully pushed an amendment lowering the federal voting age to 16 as part of the H.R. 1 voting rights package on Wednesday.”

Hmmmm…so I asked you when it was going into effect and you post the above as your gotcha moment? Hahahahahaha…thanks for the laugh. You never disappoint. Have a good night.

I knew there was no law lowering the voting age like you implied. I got you to admit there is no law lowering the voting age. I walked you right into it. You make it too easy. You used to be much sharper. My job is done here. Ta ta

Ah, now you want to twist to another angle and another platitude.

Illegal immigrant workers of course contribute to the GDP, but in many cases don't pay taxes on wages thus diminishing funding mechanisms for programs they are dependent on. So, yes they still cost the state (and other tax payers money). Once illegals get a job, at least they are contributing... unlike new arrivals which are primarily I'm Texas.

Are you going to continue to ignore that fact?

We are starved for workers. Americans are paying more for food, housing, and other commodities and services due to the severe labor shortage. We have backlogs of already-vetted immigrants, asylum-seekers with credible claims, and refugees who would gratefully (dare I say tearfully) accept jobs and lives in this country if we could only get out of our own way.

But our politics is poisoned by the demagogues who speak of immigrants as “invaders” and warn of catastrophe if we don’t close our border. Not only are they deceiving their audience, they are coarsening it by inviting them to enjoy the suffering of others. In contrast to the finest traditions of this country, which at its best has been a haven for the persecuted and a friend to the oppressed, they are treating immigrants as enemies. No—worse. Enemies would be entitled to the protections of the Geneva Conventions, which would prohibit what Greg Abbott did on Christmas Eve.

The rest of the article is worth reading.

There is definitely something wrong with today's Republicans.

The former Republican President led a coup against our government on Jan. 6, 2021, while President.

The former Republican President lost reelection by seven million votes and stole classified documents on his way out the door.

Many Republicans in key elections in November were election deniers, and most of them lost, costing the GOP a majority in the Senate and barely eking out a majority in the House, a virtual victory for the Democrats in the mid-term elections.

Three days after a judge rejected Kari Lake’s election challenge in the Arizona race for governor, a judge in Maricopa County has ordered her to compensate her opponent, Katie Hobbs.

GOP Rep.-elect George Santos is facing growing condemnation for fabricating sections of his resume – including his past work experience, education, and claiming he was Jewish. He is Catholic. Claims by Santos that his grandparents “survived the Holocaust” as Ukrainian Jewish refugees were also false.

“I never claimed to be Jewish,” Santos told the New York Post on Monday. “I said I was Jew-ish.”

It is unlikely House Republican leadership will do anything about Santos. That same Republican leadership blames Nancy Pelosi for the attack on our capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

What do grassroots Republicans think about all this? No one knows. They never talk about their own party.

As Americans, they can't even explain why they are Republican!

Make up your mind! Are the three million illegals costing California money or not. You seem to be ignoring your "backyard" comment

Other government services to undocumented immigrants, beyond education and uncompensated care at emergency rooms, include the Children with Special Health Care Needs program for children with extraordinary chronic conditions and disabilities; and certain mental health, substance abuse, public health services and programs for women and children, such as the Family Violence Program, Strayhorn’s report said.

Since she issued it, three in-state economists separately have done updates showing undocumented immigrants to generate an even bigger net gain to Texas’ governmental coffers than Strayhorn found. In 2016, Waco’s Ray Perryman said their tax contributions to the state exceeded their draw-down of state social and educational services by $11.8 billion a year, and that local governments had an annual net gain of $900 million.
