Israel to stop supplying electricity, fuel and goods to city after Hamas attack

Looks like the Palestinians need to turn on Hamas and clean house....

More likely it would be Hezbollah via Iran.
Was reported that Hezbollah said they would attack Israel should Israel do a ground invasion into Gaza.
That could be all talk though?

    Joe Biden on the situation:

"The United States stands with Israel. We will not ever fail to have their back. Israel has the right to defend itself and its people, full stop. And my administration's support of Israel's security is rock solid and unwavering."

Uh oh, I bet the members of The Squad don't like hearing that......

Then the US comes into play. They would try to protect Israel from Iran/Hezbollah.

And who would all this benefit? Comrade Putin!!!

While the US tries to save Israel, Pooteen can calmly complete his genocide against the Ukrainians. :(

It's my understanding that a lot of Palestinians travel into Israel every day to go to work. I'll bet that just ended.

Meanwhile, two earthquakes struck Afghanistan today around the same time, killing 300 and injuring thousands more. Gotta love the Middle East. When it rains, it pours.....

At the below link there's a video of the convoy heading toward Hamas. I think they're going to regret their terrorism.

Toronto appears to be the kind of place Omar and Tlaib would appreciate.

Some in Toronto celebrating mass murder of Israelis as death toll mounts

First Canada saw cheering for a Second World War Nazi-related Waffen SS soldier, now there’s jubilation in Toronto over the mass slaughter of innocent Israelis.

Most of the dead are believed to be Jewish – just like those exterminated in the Holocaust. But some here thought this was fantastic and went public to party about it.

The cowardly sneak attack by Hamas terrorists in Israel that killed several hundred and wounded more than 1,000 was already as sick as sick can get.

But people in Toronto celebrating while the death toll mounts is evil. Ye t there it was, on the Roncesvalles Pedestrian Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

In 2006 the US didn't get involved during the Hezbollah/Israel war, yet if Iran was directly involved attacking Israel maybe the US would?
    What about Syria ?
It's shocking how weak and vulnerable Israel became/is.

I think they should be killing every member of hamas they can find. They should bomb the rocket launchers and the rocket inventory. Without a strong response it will continue. I believe Israel will provide a strong response.

I marvel at the fact that there are Americans supporting the Palestinians. I can't explain it.

To understand the mentality, perhaps you should ask any Tea Party/MAGA Republican, who supports government shutdowns which, time after time, only hurt both the country, as well as Republican election results (presuming that you are not one of them).

Gaza is operated by the Palestinians. They can blame themselves for conditions there and people are free to leave the place. Hardly a prison.

I support government shutdowns because they are the only thing that gets the attention of the corrupt members of congress. If we were cutting back on federal government and causing it to live within its means I wouldn't support them. It isn't complicated. Federal government is America's biggest problem by a long shot. Anything with a chance of fixing it is positive.

On what historical precedent, are you basing your preposterous implication, that works response would have the power to change Israeli plans?

Clearly, you are just spit-balling, from your trove of acquired ideas, such as it is, and not listening to any actual news reports, of this particular event. There have been many Israeli hostages, including members of the Israeli military, who have been brought back into Gaza, which is a densely packed, civilian area. Israel has, traditionally, made great efforts to retrieve hostages (even their remains). So to go into tight, urban areas, guns ablazing, would bode poorly for those hostages. Not that I don't expect a significant military response from Israel-- I'm only pointing out that it is not such a simple calculus, as you depict it as being.

If you read my previous posts, I don't know how you could come to the conclusions that I am not supporting the Hamas terrorists. However, I am also not supporting the Israeli RW Zionists, who are behind the expansionist settlement movement. I am supporting peace, however, peace will not come by Israel just wishing the Palestinians away. Israel will have to make concessions and support a reasonable two state solution. Unfortunately, the extremists on both sides are against it, because they remain in power because of the conflict. And that includes Natanyahu, who is salivating to bomb Palestinians, so he can show he is a strong man and cede even more power, after his attempt to dismantle the Israel Supreme Court in his quest to become a dictator. Hamas plays right into his hand.

My post had been addressed to dharbert, because of his stated inability to understand why "Hamas never learns." You, apparently, should be able to relate to Hamas's sticking to what appears to be a losing strategy: these attacks, they probably believe, are the "only thing that gets the attention" of the world.
