No, I'm not saying that. I'm asking you what the differences are.
You already stated that you believe a bill of rights to be one difference, so,
again, are there any other differences? Or do you believe bill of rights to be the only one?

You're both to blame. Constantly making the same claim over and over without backing it up or trying to get the other guy to back up his claim.

The reason I'm asking you is because you're the one who's wrong. It is definitely possible to resolve if you actually want to resolve it.
Either way, if you agree to stop making that false claim in this topic, then I'll agree to stop correcting you.

With most of the good paying jobs leaving and going to poor countries to hire people for slave wages a person needs to have a college or trade school degree to make a decent living. If you were born into the poverty of let's say Gary, Indiana. Your father is no where around, and your mother is addicted to cocaine. She sells the family food stamps for drugs, or is out all night walking the streets. What kind of person does the child living in that family become? Do they have the same opportunities as say you and I. Do they have the skills to make educated decisions? Did they make the choice to be born into that situation? Say they some how made it through school and got a high school diploma, but their grades were not good enough for a scholarship. So they apply for a student loan, but they are turned down because mother used their social security number and took out loans in their name and never paid them back. Do they have the same opportunities as we did? This situation is not unique, it's happening right now to thousands of kids every day, right here in the land of opportunity. Should I stand around and watch rich people belittle the poor? I could if I was a cold heartless piece of (*)(*)(*)(*).

Is this supposed to mean Obama has made life better for the poor? Explain how if so. Requiring you buy insurance did not make it better for the poor. It made it real nice for SERCO, they are making a killing off the required heath insurance. I guess that is why they paid Obama all that money. Was Obama poor before he took office? if so then you could say he is better off than he was six years ago.

wasn't Obama that crashed this economy, it was Bush, Obama is the one cleaning up Bush's mess

sadly it always takes longer to clean up a mess than it does to make the mess

No. I asked a simple question. Are the poor better off today than they were 6 years ago? Answer the question with the assumption that I simply want to hear people's view on that.

    - - - Updated - - -

We know this person will always blame Bush for everything, so that comment is not thought provoking in any way.

I'm sorry but Obama isn't cleaning anything up. He is spending just as much if not more. Why don't people see that republicans and democrats are just two sides to the same coin. MK-ULTRA has most Americans blind to reality. Politicians in America are nothing more than magicians using age old techniques to get people to follow and believe their every word.

Again, has life gotten better or worse for the poor in the last 6 years? I suspect I won't get many honest responses to that question.

and I guess you will never blame Bush and always blame Obama, so does that make your comments thought provoking?

I assigned blame to no one. For some reason, personal bias perhaps, you refuse to answer the question.

I'm waiting for someone to actually answer the question as to how the conditions have changed, one way or the other for the poor over the last 6 years.

One person keeps responding to the question, but in a way which suggests he, or she is simply a partisan and has nothing of value to add to the topic.

If you think things have gotten better for the poor over the last 6 years, say so and tell me how and why. If you think the poor are worse off today than they were 6 years ago, tell me why you think that.

A bit of luck, yes. Mainly you just need to work hard and make really hard choices. You also have to be willing to live without your satelite tv service and some other luxuries till you can pull yourself out of debt and find a decent job. Life can seem hopeless but if you keep working at, keep improving yourself without dwelling on your awful situation, most anyone can succeed especially in the US.

I thought you wanted people's view? If it is their view then how can you judge it dishonest? I think you really don't care about people's view at all.

My answer is in the 40-50 posts I posted on this thread.

inflation has rose 10.5% in the last 6 years. So for an item costing 10 dollars in 2008, it would cost $11.05. Costs have gone up however lower wages have stayed the same. I'd say worse, however I'd have to see the changes in welfare over the last 6 years.

    Could have fooled me.

First, did you see the part where I said "I suspect" I won't get an honest answer? Second, why would you make such a baseless claim about what I care about?

I read your comments. You really didn't answer anything. You did show to be somewhat of a malcontent, but that's about it.

He owns this economy and it was democrat liberal polices that can be traced back to Carter that crashed the housing market-- that is fact.

:roflol: OWEblamer doesn't know how to clean up anything-- he is by all accounts a mess maker and destroyer of what others have built--- aka "community organizer". He doesn't know how to build anything, fix anything, and by his own admission of the last 9 fails he's responsible for, he doesn't know anything and needs to find out about everything from the press. :roflol:

Especially when the messy one has been the POTUS for about the last 6 years. OWEblamer just keeps digging the hole we are in deeper and deeper.

Then you didn't read them. You don't even have to go back very far. Since NAFTA the United States has accelerated in to 3rd world poverty in major cities all over the United States. So in the last six years did Obama stop NAFTA? No! Have the jobs came back? No! But I suspect your just mad because you were insinuating Obama has done some thing special, and I said some thing about it.

So, are the poor worse off today than they were 6 years ago or not? Is there a reason you can't answer that question?

When they pull the rug out from underneath the dollar you will know beyond a shadow of doubt what my answer is. But you read my posts. Do you think I don't remember what I post? I'm not under the spell of the magicians, I know what I have said.

There's a reason you won't answer the question. It's because you know if you answer the question honestly, you may be asked a follow-up question that will expose you as a hack if you answer than one honestly too.

Do the poor have good jobs? No. Did they six years ago? No. Food stamps have been cut back, to get a check they still have to find daycare and work at goodwill or some other place that takes advantage of the free labor. No dude follow up with your other loaded questions. I knew your first question was loaded and that's why I didn't give you the satisfaction. You are now mad and it shows as I said before I am not under their spell I seen you coming a mile away. Watch the hands

So I answered honestly what's your next question or did that answer all of your questions.
