What false information did he give? He was optimistic that it wouldn't have spread to the extent that it did. It would have been false if he said that while it was spreading and he didn't know. It only became 'false' after the fact as it continued to grow.

Okay, on this very forum there's a poll that says that Americans "approve" of Trump's response.(I don't approve of this transformation into the Soviet Union but I digress). Given THAT, how can anyone responsible claim we "fear"(what even do we fear) and how is he to respond to this "fear"?

And Pence's so-called "response" that was supposedly so much better: "Don't be afraid, be vigilant." is the EXACT same thing. After all, what do you have to be vigilant of?

What's funny is this "episode" has been "sensationalized" by your boy, Trump, not the reporter.

 

No, it's been sensationalized by the networks and by the Left wing supporters who imply to think they're saying what the Public feels. You couldn't be more wrong. More of us, are on the side of the President. We don't want to be bombarded with fear or TOLD what we're fearing, or what we're thinking.

We want to be told news impartially, to make up our OWN minds. We don't want to live in this Soviet Union and we sure as hell weren't asked to put up a vote for it. But that we've become the Soviet Union is exactly why the Left loves these new bailouts and free money to hyper inflation.

Pence's "so called" response wasn't "so called". He was asked the same question and answered it as it should have been answered. Didn't seem hard to him. Asked by the same reporter and he tell him he's a terrible reporter.
To follow your "logic", I could say that it was another example of mixed messages coming from these press conferences.

 

He called the Democratic reaction a "hoax", not the virus itself. As the Stocks were tumbling though, Trump bowed to the pressure and well, here we are...total Sovietism. It's not a fun thing to live under, and as always it comes with its justifications(the virus.)

It's gotten to the point with media propaganda, Pence has become the de-facto new president of this "American Soviet Union.". Anyone who is politically aware of these transformations and its history is indeed afraid, but not because of the virus.

Let me repeat: I'm more scared of the next steps, then I am of the virus. Because it's already shown a blatant disregard for our civil rights, as well as our economic system.

Let me ask, when the weather people come on and say a bad storm is coming, is it "propaganda"? When they say evacuate, take shelter are they bombarding you with fear and TELLING you what to fear and how to think? If a tornado is coming, I bet you have to go outside and see for yourself because, you know, 'fake news".
