There is nothing contradictory about the content of what they said. It's how they said what they said that is so different.

If Pence believes it and is not just saying what he thinks he should or what the press wants to hear, I have no issues with what he says.

And, all of Trump's Talk about "therapies" has been an Epic FAIL.

Trump has ZERO CREDIBILITY on anything involving the virus.

When the USA was first notified of Virus first appearing in Wuhan, the USA should've immediately started stockpiling Tests, Ventilators, Etc.

Trump dropped the ball.

And, many Americans who will die (who may have lived) will have died b/c Tump sat on his hands for so long (and didn't take the threat seriously, until after it was too late).

Nothing actually. I'm perfectly fine with the idea if I contract the virus, I can hopefully beat it and gain immunity to it. It's preferable to living life a slave.

 

"Be vigilant" Such a calming response(ROFL). On the contrary, if being Presidential is telling people what they want to hear(that they should run for the hills, be afraid, OMG, look at all these numbers.) then we really are headed to Soviet territory.

I was talking about here, since here is my primary concern as a US Citizen. It might be easy for Germany to swallow this, given their past but we are AMERICANS. This subjugation and deprivation forced upon us by governments is very...third world ish. And not befitting for the US, health tragedy or not.

My mantra is to believe what the facts tell you, and for one's individual rights to remain with the individual, and it can only be restricted in the most extreme circumstances and must be justified to limit the damage. This attempt to hold the entire union indoors is the opposite of all of this.
