The government has nothing to gain here. What are they going to gain from controlling a bunch of people holed up in their homes, which includes a large number of that very same government? When doing so tanks the economy and the money flow, the only thing that would make controlling a people worth it.

Maybe the Illuminati are going to use this opportunity to steal all the orange Skittles.

 

I don't know what anyone gains from it, that's not really important. What's important is what we are losing from it. Our rights, liberties and freedoms were "priceless". Now apparently, there's the price the government has put on it.

I mean, I won't be a debbie downer on everyone celebrating this but I'm not celebrating.

 

We learn today that while the government - Trump in this case - was telling the people that the situation was under control, that the infected cases would diminish "rapidly", four elected members of the intelligence committee (three GOPs and a Democrat) were selling practically all their shares before the stock market collapsed.

Of course, the Trumpsters were conditioned to hate the media that criticized the President or even those that called him to account. Aren't they the enemies of the people? Nevertheless, in the end, this administration hides a lot from the people and only the media are still able to get any answers.

I think trump should be bashed for his blatantly chicken **** response to the reporter. I dont see that as being overtly political, I see that as demanding the president be held to the standard of a decent american.
