They are not losing population. They just broke 40 million, and their economy is now the 5th largest in the world, larger then UK or France.

Of course if you do not like it there, you should leave. Move to Arkansas. Much lower cost of living.

 

You can't live in Yosemite (unless you go work for one of those horrible concessionaires and live in a dorm)... you can only visit, and you can do so from anywhere.

How could they lose population with so many relatives crossing the border to join people currently in the state?

The big question is tax base.

In 2016, less than 6,000 people paid 20% of the state income tax received. As that numbers dwindles, the state will finally face the crisis it has created.

 

I was born here in CA and am 80. But circumstances changed for me so my plan is to move to a residence near Boise Idaho late in May. I am tired of fighting my own state.

 

I’ll agree that California is the most beautiful state in the Union. That has nothing to do with politics. And California was prosperous long before it was blue. She’s going to hell pretty quick now though.

My son is there and so are his children. From what he tells me, we will have a blast, going fishing, camping and hearty parties with beer flowing.

If i wanted to live in Webe village, I might chance it by staying local such as going to Oakland CA, one of the nations capitals of gunfire and robbery.

 

CA leads the nation for having Indian Reservations. Why do we need the mexicans here?

 

It has been awhile since I went out camping, but guess what? On those camping out trips, almost everybody camped out was white.

California was part of Mexico.....We have always had Mexicans here. Thank God for that. I couldn’t imagine my home state without those beautiful women, the great tasty food, the hardworking men, tequila, the Latino music....

 

Interesting that is what you see. CA is my home state and when I was born, the state was essentially white people. My niece is married to a mexican. I will tell him what you love about the food of his former country. He might want to thank you for endorsing him losing his job to mexicans who are here illegally.

That’s true for European and maybe Australian rich, but not Americans - the Us taxes it’s citizens even on incomes earned abroad. And if you don’t disclose foreign income the penalties are severe.
Offshore or not - you pay taxes on that income.
