I just love the 6 or 7 line.

He has no idea, but thinks it may be 6 or 7.

No, I said he tried to investigate Burisma. Get it straight.

I asked you a simple question. Does it matter for us to know what they are getting? I'll phrase it another way. Is it our business to know what is being exchanged between a foreign country and someone involved with government policy?

That really doesn't matter. You should ask who he was investigating and who was helping him with that investigation. If the problem was Burisma what happened after Shoken was removed? It was determined that Burisma did nothing illegal and there was nothing wrong about hiring a person unqualified for the job Hunter was hired for. In other words the investigation into Burisma found a quick end.

Completely relevant. If he's not prosecuting anyone, he isn't doing his job right? I don't think their is a lack of opportunity in corrupt Ukraine. So then, he was removed because he wasn't doing his job, not because he was looking into Burisma.

It does matter. The narrative is that Shoken was removed for in estimating Burisma and Biden.

Is it wise to have a prosectutor who doesn't prosecute? Yes or no?

The investigation wasn’t into hiring Hunter, and was about before he was ever hired

I assume you meant "investigating". He wasn't investigating Hunter at the time but the investigation of Burisma could have caught Hunter in a corruption scheme.

Face it. The head of any DA office has others doing the leg work. The head will determine, based on his staff's investigation, if charges should be filed. If it should be it might be assigned to a junior prosecutor. After Shokin was removed the investigation was quickly closed with no evidence of corruption found. If that was true then why was Biden outraged that Shoken was dragging his feet in investigating corruption? It was a charade to get rid of the only person that might discover corruption.

Trump was the one calling for Ukraine to investigate Hunter's relationship with Burisma to determine if Joe was running interference for Burisma's corruption while he was VP.

An impeachment is the equivalent of an arrest.

It means nothing without a conviction.

    But but but

it’s OK if you do really really BIG grifts right out in the open - that is OK because now you are a Billionaire and they are never to be prosecuted

Since when was the word “illegal” allowed to be applied to Trump or any of his family?

They found in an audit that there was no wrong doing in Burisma hiring Hunter. And then after that the prosecutor was fired. Why?

"Ryaboshapka was fired in March after lawmakers accused him of not moving quickly enough in prosecuting cases. Ryaboshapka said he was axed because he had started bringing real reform to the prosecution service for the first time in a way that threatened the interests of corrupt politicians."

Maybe there was something fishy about the politicians that hired him to investigate Hunter. Maybe he was seeing something about Hunter that politicians were trying to cover up. He moved quickly enough in clearing Hunter in a ten month audit, but then corruption among the politicians pushing him to move quickly started becoming a focus.

So Energy companies only hire people that know about energy? Must put them at a serious disadvantage if they need to argue something in court or they need someone to fill out their tax returns.

Or maybe a corrupt prosecutor lied about why he was fired.
