And many straight men do that with their female partners. Your point?

Your argument is mainly irrelevant and certainly weak.

It's better now, to simply assail the BS you are putting out, and remind others that your point of view should not be embraced overall.

Think for yourselves folks; dixon just doesn't get it.

He actually seems incapable of "getting it".

I think it's a diversionary tactic (a distraction). Most people realize that paternity and procreation have little or nothing to do with homosexual people being denied the right to marry legally.

I support gay marriage for the reason that all Americans should have equal rights. I recognize that extending those rights to gay couples will increase my tax liability--I'm one of the minority who pays his income tax--so in that respect it would negatively effect me.

I get it just fine. What you people cant get is that no one has claimed the capability or intention of a couple to procreate does play a part in whether a couple can marry

The success it has had in courts all across the country would indicate otherwise.

YOU DID. your entire argument relies on it. your statement "the govn't licenses and regulates marriage because of procreation" means that the govn't requires procreation in order to get married. it doesn't work any other way.

???? Marriage, by design, is intended to discriminate between the married and unmarried, NOT equal rights for "all Americans".

Many of the rulings are being reviewed as we speak. In any case, it is good and right for homosexual people to fight for equal rights.

dixon, the manner in which you infer the importance of procreation, attaches your positions to such "logic".

No, it isn't. In fact, that's a ridiculous definition of the intentions of laws pertaining to marriage.

We are denying equal protection under the law to gay couples. In my opinion, that's wrong. I realize that in your opinion, it isn't.

I also recognize that extending the benefits to gay couples would cost money. Probably less than Solyndra or Michelle Obama cost but still it would cost.

What silliness. Of COURSE the laws that discriminate between the married and unmarried, were intended to do so.

No, we are merely seeking to challenge you openly, right here in this forum. If this screen name or portions of my actual character must be seen as 'foolish' because I'm wallowing in the poop-ridden MUD you spew... then so be it.

I've got a little time and electricity to spend shooting up flares, to illuminate the things you say.

I can't speak for johnny, but I don't follow silly fool logic. I'm using actual logic which is destroying your idiotic arguments.

I'm with you! What I'm doing at this point, is every time dixon brings up the "irrelevant", I just shoot up a flare (so to speak) as a marker; saying... he did it AGAIN!! ;)

You, I and numerous others have out-reasoned him on his persistent points of irrelevancy many times, for many weeks running. It's downright comical to me now... except for the reality that others who read these threads and take him seriously, may be seriously misled.

Ultimately, I'm tired of his anti-gay BS and that of others; so, I'm motivated to just plain act-up about the same. dixon is EASY, because he is obsessed with those few irrelevant points he continues to make.

Yeah, you two have no shortage of your personal "flares". I can back up my views with case law. You have personal opinions based upon emotions and hormones.

None that youve shared with us here. You two have been too busy declaring my arguments to be refuted, to have ever gotten around to actually doing so.
