Yes, that's true. And it can sometimes be difficult to withdraw a large sum of money from a bank as they may not have enough cash on hand at the time, and they will try to get you to accept a cashiers check instead or require you to allow them time to produce the cash.

So is the OP simply an attempt to state that the dollar has no value other than what you are able to acquire in exchange for it?

nothing has any value other than what you can exchange for it.

We're not getting any closer to clarifying the OP, but while I don't disagree with that statement relative to trade in the market place or simply between individuals, people often can and do place a high value on things which they are unwilling to part with.

As it stands, the best I can get from the OP is that it is saying "all the dollars of debt represent all the dollars that are owed".

They are all debt notes. This is true. Only the currency required to service all of the debt has not been created yet. It will come in the form of new debt. All debt will be serviced by the creation of new debt. Interest compounds, exponential growth. Principle does not. In time all new debt will only service old debt. No principle is available for new production and consumption. Contraction occurs, defaults occur, the entire system implodes.

Our problems are caused by the monetary system, not saved by it

I did assume that you'd struggle to provide a translation. No bother!

there is nothing in our monetary system that prevents us from making debt illegal. In fact Republicans have tried to make debt illegal 30 times. Democrats oppose this so they are the problem. They oppose because they want a debt option so they can provide more welfare without raising taxes and thus get reelected. Do you understand/

You're right, I wish they'd show the fact an ignored poster was being replied to so I wouldn't have to allow them temporarily to confirm that it wasn't a post directed at me.
I found the person you responded to a total waste of time in trying to resolve any issue.

if issues could be resolved this web site would have disappeared
long ago. Liberalism lacks to IQ to understand the issues so they can never be resolved.
