Do you have any actual proof that the first lady spent public funds on anything other then transportation or security?

Surprisingly, a "top source" who told the National Enquirer isn't incredibly believable, nor are a bunch of random numbers pasted in a tabloid.

There are no photocopies of the receipts but those are the reports that we're getting.

I think the Michelle is responsible for all the costs that the US taxpayer incurs.

She can't expect to globe trot all over and act surprised that travel and security costs money.

And if happens to be an alleged state visit such as the ones to India or Brazil she can charge everything including her booze and her mother's booze and everyone else she drags along to the taxpayer.

I think all this extravagance is going to catch up to the Obama's in the next election.

It may not cost them the election all by itself, but a percent or two off in a key state could be significant.

So in a way I hope Michelle keeps on cashing in and rubbing it in our noses the way she has.

And based on that I think you and Michelle should ignore all the grumbling about her travel.

Tell her to just keep on taking advantage of her position by cashing in at the taxpayer's expense and see how it plays in November 2012.

Better yet, they should be audited and forced to offer full disclosure about their expenses like Sarah Palin was with her private e-mails. Then we'd find out for sure. I doubt that the nappy-headed ho was paying for all of her expenses out of her own pocket. She's acting like a negro on the First o' De Monf holiday; spending like a queen at the taxpayers' expense.

You are correct to question "unnamed sources."

That is a tactic perfected by the leftwing media to use against conservatives for many years.

But when you itemize the first lady's travels for the past year most reasonable people are not going to have any trouble accepting the $10 million estimate.

Whatever the exact number the point is Obama lecturing the country that we are going to have to sacrifice while Michelle spends, spends, spends.

 

She can spend spend spend her own money all she bloody well wants to.


Reasonable people would not accept any number without proof.
