Althought I would like to say otherwise, I have the potential to be very rude to people. But, I like to believe that I am only rude when I am very tired, and as a result rather irritable, or provoked by something I believe to be distastful. However, if anyone feels different, I am welcome to other opinions.
Only when I get mad and frustrated about something. On this site, I'm mostly a nice person, but I am at some other sites where its nice to be able to say what I like and not worry about the consequences.
Some of my friends know my political stance and they seem to still like me and respect me and my opinion. And some of my friends don't know that much about my political stance, and that's ok with me. Here's the thing about this, many people, at least in my group of friends, do not talk about politics. I don't know if it's because they think it will cause static and break up relationships or because they just don't care to talk about it in general because they fear they will be laughed at....I don't know. It's just not a pleasant conversation. If they did choose to talk about it, I would fully voice my opinion and present facts just as I do on the Internet. The problem though is many of my friends are extremely ignorant to the facts. They are your typical sheep who only know what they have been told by mainstream media. Only a few of my friends understand the problems with this nation and what those problems stemmed from. And yes I have told some of my friends that they were foolish for thinking the way they do. One of them, I haven't spoke to in a while and that's ok with me as I can't bring myself to converse with him because of his ignorant views.
I am very vocal at work and socially. I border the civility line at times, when dealing with particularly thick headed sheep. On the internet, I keep it much more chilled than in real life conversations. Nope. I never wonder at the end of the day about why or what I posted.
unlike some, I know exactly what I post and why I do it. If something I post seems rude to YOU, then that is your problem. I give honest personal opinions, my beliefs and facts. I seldom sugar coat them, and do not do so in person.
In real life, I have a notoriously low tolerance for stupidity, particularly when it comes from people in positions of authority. Other than that, I'm almost too polite.
