If you are in NY, just a heads up to blow the dust off your vaccine cards because it’s about to get some use

I hear you. Mine is literally a piece of paper about twice the size of a credit card and looks super easy to fake. They also didn’t even examine it at the restaurant. They just took a quick look

 

These cards need to be upgraded. Its been long enough the federal government should have been able to deliver a more secure replacement by now. You cannot place such importance on vaccination proof and then provide literally no support for verification of said proof. I don't know if this is just pure incompetence from this administration or if its part of some desire to see COVID continue to dominate so that they can have the issue come midterms. We either need something that has a physical security measure built in, like US currency does, or we need to hook vaccinations records into the DMV database so IDs can be scanned to reveal status.

They should require vaccine cards to use public toilets.

They only need report your name and the date of the vaccine to the State for verification. You know that is all so easy now with computers.

Then one morning there's cop knocking at your door

You could even offer a reward for catching violators.

 

You know, the right wing is always big on getting tough on crime. THIS is an excellent time to do that. This shows a reckless disregard for life.

They should clamp down and ensure that all violators do time in prison.
