Masks wearers can catch and transmit the virus. Besides, what prevents fake card holders from wearing masks to give the impression they are vaccinated and compliant? The whole point of carrying a fake card is to blend in.

My only complaint is that it's just a card, not very durable, and too large to fit in my wallet. Make it plastic like a credit card, and that should be enough.

I think its a question of whether states or the feds should be creating the document/card. I doubt there is a real consensus on whether Ohio and Missouri want the same information, format etc and whether the data base should be shared with the feds, so that they can make the card.

 

Should be federal IMO. They have they monies, they have the connections to the manufacturers, and if they handle it then it will get the cards into the hands of people located in states that would otherwise refuse to run such a program internally. Yea, it just has to be the fed's responsibility. If it were up to states like FL and TX and LA and so on it would never get done.

 

What's going to be f***ing hilarious is when covid numbers don't decrease (and they won't) with the silly show me your papers policies. Then, just like masks during the peak of alpha, the justification will be some nebulous response about how it would have been even worse without the nazi checkpoints. We are losing our minds and soul as a nation.

 

And spread will keep on going increasing, just like last year. What will it take for you fools to realize that the virus doesn't care about your silly mandates.
