The legal limit now is zero, as I've already said.

So zero is lower than 5000.

That's a choice. The President has the authority to close the border now.

 

You guys are arguing about apples and oranges.
The bill says nothing about allowing 5000 illegals a day.
It talks about what levels force the government to act and what levels qualifies as an emergency and what the government must do in an emergency situation.
By doing nothing, the government can let 1,000,000 illegals, or asylum seekers, in per day.

 

Then why didn't trump do it?

 

Good luck even getting him to explain what he thinks "close the border" means.

Add to that the fact that the 20 dollar minimum wage cost CA nearly three jobs for every person who actually got a raise. and there will almost certainly be more to come as the fast food chains begin replacing workers with robots. Which by the way means no money for SS medicare and medicaid and unemployment compensation lots of luck printing enough money to make Bidenomics work.

 

The one where you read the part of the bill where it ships money to the NGO's that are recruiting migrants and shipping them north. The Part where shutting it down if it exceeds 5000 a day is entirely at the presidents discretion. And lastly that most of the money is going to hire a few more judges to deal with the flood and raises for the border patrol to get the union on board.

It's pretty simple, Trump is on the side of the people, all the people but particularly workers and middle class.

Biden is only for the very rich, cut worker pay, flood the country with cheap labor, boost corporate profits.

Until Trump, both parties were on the right, starting wars and ripping off the people.
Democrats are still on the right and so are most Republicans. Trump is in the center.

 

How about IF Trump apologizes for lying about Dems stealing the election, and his actual theft of the election he attempted in 2020, apologize to the 25 women he sexually assaulted, the 8000 people he screwed in the fake university scam, the good folks of Aberdeenshire Scotland whom he raked over the coals with his Golf Course there, his fornicating with a porn star and paying her $130k to keep quiet about it in order to defraud the electorate, etc., etc., etc.
