Absolutely! The only large city I would visit would be NYC to see the statue of liberty, take in a broadway show, see a few other sights, then I would be gone. I'm a nature nut and that's what I want to see - not masses of people, bumper-to-bumper traffic, to much noise...... can't imagine anyone wanting to live in Vegas.......
She's spending a lot of time in New York, so it must be enjoyable for her there. She's seen Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty. I've asked if she has plans to check out the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park, based on your recommendations!
Los Angeles and New York are great if you enjoy seeing dumbass mexican gangbangers or people (*)(*)(*)(*)ting in subways. I'd take your trip sooner rather than later, because the rest of the once great nation will probably look that way soon enough.
The view I have of the empire state building from my window and my roof is awesome!! I could post a pic sometime if you were interested(I also have a good view of the Chrysler Building as well).
Admittedly I have lived in new york for less than a month now, but I have never seen anyone (*)(*)(*)(*) in the subway. Honestly, I haven't seen anyone other than a dog (*)(*)(*)(*) anywhere outside a bathroom(I actually haven't personally witnessed that either). PS. It is also quite possible to avoid the subways altogether. You would just have to walk a lot, and take cabs to places outside of walking distance. This is more expensive than taking the train if you want to take many long trips, and really experience New York, but it is very doable!!
Who is this girl and where did she get all this money to travel? does she have a job or rich parents? If you come here you should go to Star Tours at Disneyland.
So her parents didn't help her in any way? lies all LIES!!... Did she come by herself? That's bold mak.
I doubt anyone helped her - why do you think she got a free holiday at her parents expense? I've known about this for months, it is clear she's saved for years, she went with a few friends, some of them are coming home after a couple of weeks and she and another mate are staying on.
Sounds like a standard pick-up line. "My apartment has a wonderful view." Next he'll show you his "artwork." Wise up young lady! Just kidding.
In Vegas, this tour is not too expensive, and is a lot of scenic fun. http://www.pinkjeep.com/ Niagra Falls is worth it as well, but it is wicked expensive for the most part.
Don't know about that, but one of their tours they try for a visual of the mountain goats, but never have spotted one.
Here you go. The first 2 are pics from my roof. The first is of the Empire State building, the second of the Chrysler building. Sorry about the quality. The only camera I have is on my phone. It also means, that even though the view is even cooler at night, the pics at night don't turn out properly. This last pic is from school. I took this while I sat eating lunch. The Empire State building is in this picture as well, but so is Washington Square Park and lots of other stuff as well. I am posting it, because I think it is a cool view.
Awesome pics, Frodders! Is Washington Square Park where all the green is? Grace says she's seen the Grand Canyon, and I hope she enjoyed it! She is home in a month!
