He's an Islamist. Lying about Islam is hardwired into him. You can't have a rational discussion with him.

Yes, Muslims are allowed to have sex with prisoners or slaves with their consent. These verses are saying we can act like we would with our wives with our slaves.

    The FULL verse 4:24 is:

"And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not unlawful sexual intercourse. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, give them their due compensation as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you for what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise."

To make sense of it, you kinda need verse 4:23:

"Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful."

Again, the full verse of 33:50 is quite important as well:

"O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful."

Why don't you post the numerous verses on the Quran encouraging the freeing of slaves. In fact, freeing slaves is a way to be forgiven for sin. So, with that said, does Islam actually encourage slavery? The logical answer would be no. What it does do, along with Hadiths, is give guidelines for slavery.

In Islam we are suppose to treat any slaves we have like they are part of the family, feed them like they are family cloths them like they are family... Even not give them hard tasks and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged people to help their slaves do work.

    Think about this.

Which does not by one iota change the fact that they are slaves and captives with no choice and that makes it RAPE.

Also if you have studied the Quran then you know Islamic Quranic Scholars say they had the right to sex with prisoners, and slaves.

I also found it quite interesting that they could rape a married woman as long as she was a captured slave!

    Quran in Sura 4:24 says:

And forbidden to you are wedded wives of other people except those who have fallen in your hands (as prisoners of war) . . . (Maududi, vol. 1, p. 319). (See also Suras 4:3 and 33:50)

What? Do you understand what "with their consent" means? Lol... That is what I mean by twisting things. And for the second time now, I didn't say there is no slavery in religions dating back thousands of years... It would be nice if you actually read my posts you know.

Yes, oh my God. WITH. THEIR. CONSENT. Get it? They couldn't force the slaves to have sex with them, if the woman agreed then they could. They couldn't pressure the women either. All this is a sin Islam.

    Lmao... They can't rape anybody...

It's not talking about rape (you don't twist things hey?) it's talking about relationships and consensual sex. We cannot marry or have sex with already married woman. However if she a slave we can. Because if she is a slave then most likely her husband is dead, as slaves were taken after wars.

Wow. Maybe you should read the Quran.... Because you really have no idea what you are talking about...

OJLeb. He is a Muslim who, in this forum, has openly endorsed wife-beating, slavery (see post # 204), and other vile aspects of the Koran. He sugar coats them a bit, but he still OKs them. He also recently advocated violence in political protest, as a means of freedom of expression. Well, for him, why not ? The Koran advocates it all through its pages, and neither he or many other Mulsims I've seen ever denounce the Koran.

None of the verses I quoted said anything about consent!

AND - How does a MARRIED CAPTIVE legally consent to sex with her captor?

If you read the online commentary on this, it is obvious this has nothing to do with "consent" it is rape.

There was even a discussion about the meaning of one of the verses - if one could rape a captive on the field - or if one had to take her off to a private place to do it.

And another on how many times one could do this before one had to take her into the household - I believe the consensus was once privately on the field.

    Read up on this.

I know you folks don't want this to be in your holy books - but it is - and twisting what it says - and getting angry at people whom point it out - is just wrong.

Also - most concubines were bought sex slaves - they had no choice - that is rape.

I rather think it was seen as a slave's duty so I'm not sure that it is rape, technically. Though by todays standards it probably would be. Today I guess it would compare to having sex with women who've fallen victim to trafficing, but back when slavery was legal, trafficing was therefore also legal.

Important point is what s happening today, not 1400 years ago. Problem is in 1400 years, not one word of the Koran has been changed, and as we've seen, no book has ever been more in need of revision (make that overhaul). Trouble is instead of taking the bull by the horns and just getting the job done, Muslims prefer deception to try to con the world, and adjust everyone's perception, to present Islam as acceptable (which is both impossible and frankly, silly).

That is not correct - and anyone here can Google this and read the commentary for themselves!

    It is not with "consent!"

What bought sex slave consents? They are bought from a slave trader for SEX!

What prisoner that just watched their tribe slaughtered - consents - to the murderer screwing them? Sometimes right on the battlefield - according to one of the sites!

You both can try to get around this - but you won't - because all one has to do is bring up the related law - and read the commentary!

Having sex with a bought sex slave, slave, bought concubine, or prisoner, is RAPE! They have no choice!

Which doesn't change one iota - that for the women - it is RAPE.

Slavery being legal, does not make it any less rape!

If slavery is legal then it simply pertains to the use of a commodity. But yes, that's of course only of legal significance.

What does having sex with slaves as long as their husbands are dead have to do with consensual sex? And what does it have to do with relationships unless, of course, you are talking about legal relationships?
