They were not shoveling the whole sidewalk. They stopped after her house.
Watch at 2:20; right after she shovels more snow back onto the sidewalk, they shovel it again and put it on her property.
She's a crazy old woman but they aren't helping the situation in their righteousness. I honestly can't believe anyone would fight for someone that has their right to shovel a sidewalk taken away. That's pretty crazy itself.

Because she stopped them. Also, that doesn't matter. The sidewalk still isn't her property. Even the sidewalk in front of her house.
Not nearly as crazy as the woman you are defending. I honestly can't believe anyone would fight for someone who tried to illegally take away the rights of people to access the sidewalk. That's crazy as a shithouse rat.

Didn't the right introduce the word "Karen" to describe women who complain about nothing important? So you are saying that the right are racists

For the same reason black-on-black crime doesn't get mentioned in 'polite circles'. It doesn't fit an agenda, and it's not divisive enough! I heard recently that lifting weights is supposed to be a sign of being a white supremacist, and playing golf is white privilege. Divide and conquer, baby, the creedo of the American left.

If it weren't for shithouse rat's trying to blow this up into some big racial scandal, we wouldn't even be talking about it in the first place.

Don't know. Is there some particular reason "blacks committing heinous crimes" needs to be in the news constantly?

And more importantly, what is it with this obsession with what blacks do or don't do in the world on this forum? I've noticed there's a significant amount of threads or topics on what black people do and have or don't do and don't have on here, and there's also a lot of defaulting to "well, what about blacks committing all these crimes" whenever something else is brought up. Why is that?

Some people want to treat black people like everyone else. Evidently, that way of thinking is racist. Therefore we have to have special treatment for all things that show black people getting hurt, or even if they get their feelings hurt, while at the same time, burying any sort of story that shows black communities/culture in a bad light. This obvious double standard makes people get pissed off and so they try to highlight the obvious double standard.

    Does that answer your question?

No, how the hell is that a double standard? And if you really wanna treat someone like everyone else, why aren't you making up new threads or defaulting to other races whenever a white person commits a heinous crime? Or a Latino person? Or an Arabic person? Or an Asian person?

Another question: why are you or anyone else here super concerned with whether there's a story about putting the black community in a bad light or not? You guys on a crusade or something?

EDIT: Well well, seems like this thread might've answered my first question:

I don't see threads about white people getting their feelings hurt very much. I don't see riots because the police kill some idiot white guy that tries to shoot them. You don't see the double standard that allows anyone to make fun of white hillbilly culture while not allowing any negative remarks about black urban culture. If you think that ignoring the problems of black culture is the right way to fix those problems, then see how far that gets you. So far, it hasn't gotten very far.

You don't? Because there's an entire thread on the "black national anthem" stirring debate on social media that's gone on for 30 pages and clearly there's folks with hurt feelings on that.

That's because somehow those guys get taken in alive, more often than not.

Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock must not have gotten the memo.

But hey, it's nice to see you guys are making it your life's mission to not ignore these problems and bring them up despite no one asking for it or even if it's got nothing to do with the thread. Thanks for your altruism:roll:

Again, special treatment to make black folks feel separate but equal. Also, it was an entire thread because people got butt hurt that a white woman didn't stand up.

    statistics say otherwise.

    true...20 years ago

You won't find a thread by me about what you think is my life's mission. I was just answering the question. Instead of trying to look at something through the other guy's viewpoint, you are just arguing. If you really wanted to understand their position, then you should try to listen to what they are saying instead of what you already believe to be the case.

And all of it spiraled into a whole another debate that's still going on.

    What stats are these?

I am listening to the other side and what I'm seeing is what seems like borderline obsession with what black people do or don't do, how they act or don't act and it's extremely bizarre to me. I know I haven't been a member here that long but I can count on one hand the number of times a thread I was in went from one thing to "well what about black people doing XYZ? When are we gonna talk about that?"

Pretty much on par with the population percentage.

That's what happens when you start calling all white people racist. You get pushback. In this thread, for example: I make one observation in this nothing burger story about how these guys keep shoveling and suddenly I'm attacking. These kind of stories don't help bring people together but are just another way to say, "look how oppressed we are!"

Indeed. But the thing is that "Karin" is a just stereotype, and not all women are Karin's. This person just fits the stereotype that everybody finds annoying.

Behind every stereotype is a grain of Truth.

( And some contain a lot more grains than others )

Yeah that was my first thought. Random "favors" from strangers make me uncomfortable. But ignoring/avoiding them would have been the better route.
