so you just continue to confirm you dont comprehend genetics....are blue eyed people a races?...how about red haired people?...maybe people with big noses?....are blue eyed, red haired haired people with big noses a different race from green eyed, brunettes with little noses?....just where are these arbritary magical lines you want to draw?....

 

You read a newspaper article on genetics once and now you think you comprehend it....you've only replaced racism of colour with racism of genetic terms you only think you understand....

 

you read it once and don't understand it

 

well now you've revealed yourself for what you are....so stop the pretenses and admit what you are....

Those charts show what? The distribution of a couple of genetic markers in the European population, what has that got to do with "race"?

 

it means that it is possible to genetically ID different populations. Whether you want to call it race or not, I don't care.

You do realize that all Humans were at one time BLACK SKINNED right?

Humanity originated out of Africa and from Africa spread out all over the world.

Depending upon what Latitude groups of Humans lived for long periods determined certain Genetic Traits such as those people living near or upon the equatorial regions or areas of the planet where Solar Radiation was much greater than higher Norther Latitudes or lower Southern Latitudes had darker skin pigmentation to protect their skin from such radiation....and as well in the dry and extremely hot African Savannah human's evolved not only dark skin but as well flatter and larger nostrils to allow a greater amount of air intake as in such temps. air is thinner.

In contrast groups of people who moved and settles in Upper Northern Latitudes evolved lighter to white skin as due to a great deal less solar radiation such dark protective skin pigmentation was unneeded as well eye color changed as dark brown to black eyes in areas heavy with ice and snow allows to great an amount of reflected sunlight to cause snow blindness...thus through natural selection lighter eye colors evolved in humans....along with smaller noses and nostrils as cold air is denser and thus has more oxygen per breath than hot air even if the ratio of oxygen exists as the same.

Human Geneticists are extremely far along and major advancements in Genome Mapping and Genetic Engineering are now realities.

sure, I think it is perfectly reasonable we descended from Africa, but at the same time it is unreasonable to assume that in the intervening 100,000 years, there was no difference in selective pressure on populations.

In 14,000 years we turned a grey wolf into a Pekinese, but if I am to believe the PC left there was absolutely no evolutionary differences in humans over 100,000 years.

It is statistically impossible that all short distance records are held by people of west African descent, IF we are all the same.

 

All it does is identify families, that when extended that all families and all people are related...we're all the same, some of us have big noses like our dads and others small noses inherited from their moms...

 

Well....in some cases Evolution and even Mutation can occur and make huge leaps in Human development.

As of late because of diet and medicine the Insurance Association of America are detailing policy coverage to American's who are expected to be increasing in average length of life by over 15% in the next 3 decades.

In a Insurance Association Summit meeting in Hartford Connecticut it was advised Insurance Companies would be seeing an over all increase of 350% of American Women living over 105 years old and by 2030 that Average Life Expectancy to increase to 95 for men and 115 for women.

Right now children are being born WITHOUT wisdom teeth and as well children are being born with greater finger dexterity supposedly as a result of the computer age.

There is an ongoing breeding program in Russia where Sables which are an extremely aggressive Fox like animal are being selected out of the aggressive group for timid tendencies and after only a few generations these Sables have changed the color of their fur and are completely domesticated.

You bring up some very interesting points in this post. It's hard for me to imagine a world where the population just drops by 2 billion and all whites and Asians are suddenly gone. I think yes a lot of advances will be lost, as you point out 90% of the advances have come from those two groups. Is it coincidence, or the nature of the people. Does skin color and ethnicity have anything to do with innovative minds? Will Hispanics, blacks, middle eastern etc etc. rise to the challenge when they are all that is left. I feel they will have no choice but to step in and fill the void. If they do not, then the world will regress back to the pre industrial revolution days. a lot of questions I simply do not have the answers to. I hope people as a whole step it up a notch or two, regardless of ethnicity. Can do attitudes go a long ways

 

There is no difference under superficial personal identifiers and morphology we are identical under our skin...the dog,canis lupus familiaris is no longer the same as the wolf-canus lupus lycaon ....notice the different biological classifcation?....unlike humans where there is only a single single biological classification-homo sapiens sapiens....

 

and we are getting dumber, the welfare state has removed the selective pressure for intelligence or any other useful trait

 

There is a big difference between learned knowledge and intelligence.

Many studies have been done on this and it was found consistently that when a very specific intelligence test designed to measure a wide ranging ability of intelligence within every subject as these tests were designed to measure Intelligence not specific to learned knowledge...thus taking money and education out of the equation....and many groups of people were used...Blacks, Whites, Asians, Hispanics....etc....and then broken down into even more specific groups such as specific European Whites and specific Asians...etc....and after all this it was found that..................................

.............................................NO MATTER WHAT RACE OR SKIN COLOR OR ETHNICITY on average all groups had almost the same IDENTICAL NUMBER of Genius Levels, Mid Level, Low Level, MORONS...etc....as any other group.

In the past such studies had used IQ tests that gave educated groups a distinct advantage but with the new Intelligence Tests that were by DESIGN....made to properly gauge a persons intelligence regardless of education or upbringing....it showed us all people of all races and all groups have basically the same percentage of High, Medium , Low and Idiot level people.

I have four kids, one has the normal complement of teeth, another was born missing one incisor, another is mising two incisors...the forth has/had two extra wisdom teeth...obviously they must represent four separate races...I guess I'm just being a PC lefty thinking they belong to one family...

This is both true and false.

There are some people who truly need help...and there are some people who take advantage of the system.

Unfortunately what we need to do to solve this issue neither the Republican's or the Democrats will support.

If a person need monetary help...give it to them...but PUT THEM TO WORK.

Do you have ANY IDEA how much money the country and states could save by using those who receive a Welfare Check who are able bodied to help clean parks and road sides, mow highway center lanes and side lanes, help separate recyclables, act as Census Takers...etc...etc...etc.

Dogs can still breed with wolves, and dogs prove that intra-species evolution can work on short time scales. If you put a bunch of domestic dogs into the wild, within a few generations they revert back to a common wild phenotype. Well known experiment.

I just gave you a link that refutes that phenotype differences are only skin, hair, and eyes. West African centers of gravity are high, they have different muscle and bone structure. Lactose intolerance, sickle cell anemia, and other genetic diseases are prevalent within certain populations. Koreans have no odor glands in their armpits, Asians' sense of smell is different, testosterone is higher in black men...and the skin is a major organ of the body, it is not a trivial difference. We are not identical under our skin.
