I did not cite homosexual and gay as two seperate things. I simply did not want to get into the argument that "he said gay, not Homosexual", so I ask for the definitions of all three.

We shouldn't care, but it's newsworthy because so many do. Since his announcement, he's received death threats, has been harassed, and experienced numerous other consequences. If our society was as it should be (and ultimately will be), you are correct. Such an "announcement" would not only be unnecessary, but would result in a collective "Who cares?". Sadly, we're not at that point, but him doing what he did takes us one step closer to it. In 5 or 10 or 20 years, it will be no big deal. But we're not there yet.

But, I agree with you that we can't continue with a broken system thus why breaking it even more makes no sense. I am in full support of you over 100% equality and eliminating the govt from that completely will accomplish that. I do not support the leftist proposals to expand govt intrusion for about 2% of the population when there are many more single people getting the shaft. We must address everyone if equality is your goal; don't you agree?
