Neither Iran nor Afghanistan think their military is more powerful than the US.

As you know, COVID is a medical condition, not a political one. Anybody taking medical advice from a politician should probably have some kind of 24/7 care.

This is not even close to debatable. Not even on the field.

I'm talking about him. You want to avoid discussion?
But if you don't want to talk about Defarming, then we can discuss concentration camps in the USA for US citizens.
For example, I know of only two countries in which their citizens were sent to concentration camps - Nazi Germany and the United States.

Fair enough. While attacking Iran would be a disaster - there is no doubt who would win in direct military conflict.

That said - Iran could bring America to its knees via indirect conflict .. not that this is difficult mind you .. Bin Ladin did it with a well concieved and executed plot .. doesn't take much for the citizens of USA to crumple - . get on bended knee - begging to trade away essential liberty for security due to fear of an external threat .. 400 times less risk of harm than the risk of harm from "Walking"

Yes, it doesn't take much. All they have to do is inflict some casualties, and then the attackers can sit back and watch political blame-game and over-reaction bring the nation to a halt.

Or - create a few false flags here and there to keep the fear factor in check - this combined with massive propaganda efforts - keeps the money flowing into the Military industrial complex. The sheep are well trained.

I'm not in the least impressed by how the right have handled the pandemic.

Masks work (not well) and vaccines work (quite well) at cutting transmission. If we don't cut transmission, people will continue reducing spending on services that they perceive as putting them at risk of becoming infected.

If folks on the right don't like masks and don't like vaccines, I want to know what they have for a plan. Seems they don't have one.

They don't have a plan for anything EVER with one exception. Lying, stealing, cheating, projecting, disenfranchising, marginalizing and scapegoating anyone outside their clique. That's not only the #1 goal, it's the ONLY goal.

And like, that's your opinion that your entitled to have.
I think most non Americans do see it like that. The thing is... the war fought is not a conventional war where 2 armies fight for a victory leading all to often to a clear winner. No doubt this is the image you got in your head. Hoever, this was an asymmetric war. And for everybody else this is exactly how it looks like when you lost such a war.

This emphasizes that you got the idea of a conventional war of 2 armies. And that idea doesn't fly in an asymmetric war.

Not so much. The withdrawal already stated under Obama. He left the office with something like 8,500 troops in Afghanistan helping out +100,000 pro western Afghan forces. While at one point there were over 80,000 US soldiers in that country under Obama. Trump initially pushed the to enlarge the US army presence, until he signed the Doha agreement. That's when he pulled out something like 10,000 troops leaving Biden to pull out the last 4K or something

So it's not economic decline. It's mostly Obama and Biden making an end of having US forces there as a policy that Trump eventually also followed. That policy of training pro western Afghans and leaving took something like 10 years and is not so much related to the economic decline. Not that money doesn't matter. To have an army there simply would have been too costly no matter how economically the US was doing.

UK is also no stranger. I think they even started with that idea, in the boer wars in South Africa.
Maybe even sooner. It's not as if Britania ruling the waves did not go hand in hand with massacring around the ones who did not wanted to be subjected to their colonial rule with slave labor... in camps.

You are correct that the concentration camps are a British invention. But in this case, my opponent and I are talking about concentration camps created by the US and German governments for US and German citizens.
