To boil it all down to gravy I will simply say this. Inner city people are stupid! That is the number one reason they are poor. That is why their neighborhoods suck. Stupid does not automatically mean violent but we can certainly add that. So while one party wants to worship the lowest common denominator in this country we need to vote against them.

No great country makes public policy based their dumbest people. So why are we?

There are many tools used in this study. SAT scores in math and English for example. Intelligence is measured by IQ tests. The participants were divided by race, black and non Hispanic white and where they lived. Baltimore city or Baltimore county just outside the city.

Baltimore city mean IQ .

Whites -86
Blacks-76

Baltimore county mean IQ

Whites-99
Blacks-86

Only 2.41% of blacks do math at grade level.
19.4% of whites do math at grade level.

Did you read that last part? The numbers might skewed too high!

Well, as one who has studied IQ testing in college I can tell you that nature hands out intelligence randomly. IQ tests like Stanford Benet tend not to consider cultural differences among the test takers. They are skewed to a white college bound culture. It is a fact. You could write an intelligence test that would put blacks 10 points ahead of whites and you would have a culturally exclusive test that performed in the opposite direction.

The problem with management of democrat run cities is not a lack of intelligence. It is political bias aimed more at giving and taking than earning and personal responsibility. Wokeness is not a good approach to management.

 

Total bullcrap because Asians score higher than whites and Hispanics score higher than blacks. So the tests are biased only against blacks? How? Bullcrap!

Let us remember who compiles, gives and interprets the data for these tests. Democrats! They are all libos! They make a test that they feel is as unbiased and after it shows blacks scoring 12 points lower than whites they will then pretend it is biased.

I've heard this comment before, that there is cultural bias in IQ testing. Although IQ tests are not perfect, I've never been able to read a good explanation on what that cultural bias is. I mean, you have to be literate to take one, and you have to be literate in the language the test is being given in, but other than that, I'm not sure what you are referring to.

IQ is not a good measure of people. What we know is poor people don’t do as well on IQ tests. And it makes sense because IQ tests don’t measure intelligence. Basically people focusing on day to day survival don’t need to focus as much on higher level thinking or problem solving. Why do that when you can focus on getting more money? So in the end, IQ tests measure access to resources. The more resources a person has, the higher their IQ scores.

 

Go to the 4 minute mark because Seinfeld makes fun of this bias bs. Elaine takes an IQ test for George and scores an 85. So Jerry jokes that maybe the test was gender biased with lots of questions about testicles.

Not really. IQ doesn’t measure if a person is dumb or not. It’s supposed to measure intelligence. Being dumb doesn’t mean they’re not intelligent. For example this post failing to indicate the difference between being dumb and unintelligent does not reflect upon the intelligence of the person posting it.

I have my answer. IQ doesn’t measure intelligence. It measures access to resources. We just had to discuss the difference between being dumb and unintelligent. Make sure to use the right word to communicate the right meaning.

 

Access to resources? Who is denying people the access to resources? You make no sense. You mean IQ results are effected by access to resources.

Constantly depicting people as victims who can easily be denied important things does not indicate you think of them as intelligent.

Well for starters poverty denies them access to resources. That’s how poverty works. It traps people in poverty by forcing people to buy day to day needs vs long term survival.

And no. I mean IQ tests measure access to resources. The tests are designed with certain middle class assumptions of what a person should be able to accomplish by a certain age. But because they’re class dependent they end up ignoring the kinds of skills and knowledge that poverty produces. So in the end the “low IQ tests” end up measuring the ability of the power to be like a socio-economic class. And we know this. Farmers who rely on sustenance farming tend to have higher IQ scores when they’re are harvesting their crop vs when they don’t have a lot of money.
