And in order to explain who keeps them down I would have to explain what structuralism is and how structural institutions cause racist outcomes in the US. For example the decline in public pools in the 1960s and 1970s (which was a racist attempt to prevent integration) led to the stereotype that black people cant swim. The conditions that poverty creates force people to remain there. Poverty begets more poverty.

Poor people are poor because they are unintelligent. If they lack access in the middle of a large city it is because they are too stupid and too uneducated to know how. Stop putting the cart in front of the horse.

So what you are saying is that black inner city IQ could be lower than 76?

Culture? Black culture is a negative thing? I'm fine with that.

Environment? Living among black people makes you dumber? Ok I'm fine with that.

Nutrition? We have SNAP and school meal programs. This is not Rwanda.

Education? It's called public schools. Free pre school to community college. Community college is free in the state of Maryland. Also in Tennessee where I live.

 

I would question the reason for this post in the first place. The poster is not pointing out something that we should fix nor making any suggestions it should be fixed. What was the purpose of posting a "study" from a questionable source that is 20 years old?

Even if the information is true IQ is something you, I, and the People of Baltimore are born with not something that is chosen. There is no evidence that links IQ with race; there is evidence that some races in some areas are more successful. I wonder if he has the same disdain for Downs syndrome individuals.

I'll go slow. Yes some of those things COULD affect IQ scores. A malnourished person for example would be affected.

Many of those things that you would consider negative to intelligence scores are the byproduct of the people themselves that live in that area.

Black culture comes from black people.
Environment is effected most by the people who live there.

People do not live in a vacuum. Why do libos act like blacks are helpless pawns that is racist?
