Well there is a big difference between the abuse by Americans at Abu Ghraib and Saddam's shredder. the abuse by American soldiers actually happened, we have proof, we have photographic evidence, we have a lot of reliable witnesses.

The shredder however was made up, invented, propaganda to try and justify an illegal war of aggression.

Heads up Milesian, the reason I rarely post in threads such as these lately is because I don't like to get in the slop and wallow with the hogs in order to correct them. Most of the usual suspects are here only to argue and troll, they are not interested in productive debate or facts. I would absolutely love to transport them to their idea of an ideal country and government such as North Korea for a decade or two. Well let's take a look at the prison statistics for both countries.

America 715 per 100,000 people.

Malaysia 161 per 100,000 people.

Looks like the odds would be better in Malaysia.

 

That's because the Islamist authorities give the suspects the business end of the scimitar and don't bother with prisons.

 

You should LOOK up the execution statistics for the US and Malaysia.

I doubt Iran was involved in the attack on the WTC at all.

Okay even if true what can we do about it they have in standing military forces over half a million soldiers, another 1.8 million combined reserves and militia in uniform and a pretty capable military overall plus ties to China who they could ask for help and likely use of terrorist elements.

Invading them will not be easy and holding the nation would mean a large standing force more than we have, unless we go to a draft.

 

China has closer ties with Saudi Arabia and buys more oil from KSA than from Iran.
